Hopefully Suzy Jackson will narrate the audiobooks. Some authors will have a different narrator do the novellas than the main series (see Brian McClellan etc). She is the perfect voice for this series. Indifferent about the title name; I read the first two and will buy it whatever it’s called.

Yes! I wonder how he will release it? Is he writing it for some sort of anthology like he did Shadows for Silence, Sixth of Dust etc? Or will it be a digital only release and eventually collected with other stories and printed as part of Arcanum Unbounded 2?

First time watching one of these shardcast things and it was pretty fun! I will have to make time for them in the future. By the way @Chaos I believe you teach math? I would of loved to have you as a teacher in school. Looks like you have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Also nice to put some faces with profiles on the shard.

Was it just me or was this the first State of Sanderson where Brandon looked...mortal. Don't get me wrong he has still had a great output and looks like he will be busy next year, but not as much as in past years. I guess I am just spoiled I guess, because he still has more output than the average writer.

About 90 minutes left and still 7 thousand more to go. It's coming down to the wire!

Looks like it's going to be a close call if this thing gets funded or not. 14 days left a barely half of the money raised.

Sounds like Brandon was pretty emphatic that there will be no more annotations. He has a lot on his plate and doesn't want to use his time on the annotations and instead use it to write his books, go touring etc.

So I know of kickstarter, but the finer details of it elude me. My questions are: if they meet all of their goals will it eventually be something you can buy from amazon, wallmart or wherever? So with kickstarter it is more expensive bc you are basically funding their project, but the benefit is you get the first look at the product (or potentially only look if they don't meet their goals)? By the way great write up!

I assume you mean mass market paperback and not trade paperback? If that's the case its usually about 1 year after the hardcover release
