Hoid noted that it's different but I don't see how
The summoning of the Everstorm might seem like it but it is hinted by the way Pattern phrased it("Time is very short. They have summoned the Everstorm" )that it happened before. Also I don't see why the Stormforms of the past wouldn't attempt to summon it
Granted, However the taste is so good, it overwhelms your senses and overloads your brain, you fall into a coma. Technically you did get to enjoy it
I want Warner Brothers to start making good SuperHero movies
Pretty much this, a lot of geeks(incluiding myself) are on the autism spectrum and have difficulties with social interactions so we find him easy to identify with
Granted, you have no Bane, the NightWatcher is disappointed with your baneleass wish and so teleports a band of Koloss from Scadrial to eat you alive. As she did it on her own accord and not as part of your wish it doesn't count as a bane
I wish George R. R. Martin would finish writing ASOIAF before the end of this decade
Looking at all of the books that have been released so far, future known books and their order of release, It to jme seems the Cosmere cycle is structured similar to the MCU
Something along those lines:
Phase 1:
-Elantris
-Mistborn first series
-Warbreaker
Phase 2:
-Mistborn second series
-Stormlight arc 1
-Elantris sequels
Phase 3:
-Mistborn third series
-Stormlight arc 2
-Nightblood?
Phase 4:
-Mistborn fourth series
-Dragonsteel
As you may remember, the Parshendi employed strange and rather inefficient tactics in WOK, such as bringing two armies into the battlefield only when the Alethi did so. Now this worked well when they were a mysterious and unknown race but in WOR we do get a glimpse of their society and it makes no sense to me that they will act like that
This sentence(Wax) confuses me a little, either the Elendel based nation is also called Scadrial or this is a writing error as I doubt Wax knows much about other dimentions
I've started reading the Cosmere books about 10 months ago and now I am almost finished with them. How good are Sanderson's other books compared to them?
Should I pick them up considering that I am not a big fan of YA books(though admittedly most of my experience with YA has only been with the famous ones like the Hunger Games)?
Possible titles for the future SF Mistborn series:
Mist Wars: A new Metal
Mist Wars: The Final Empire Strikes Back
Mist Wars: Return Of The Mistborn
Mist Wars: Adonalsium Awakens
I am in the middle of WOR right now and so far I remember three separate accounts on the number of Alethi Shard Blades: 20(WOK) "dozens"(WOK) and 30(WOR)
The first account seems the most plausible as Kholinar is said to be the most powerful princedom, if the other accounts are true then with Sadeas having 1 blade and Kholin having two would that the other 8 princedoms have around 3-4 each which doesn't seem likely
I am rather new here so sorry if I posting something that has been brought up before
