  1. Hmm, I'm not going to vote just yet. I can't decide who's more likely to be skaa. Phatt, can you remind me of Deathclutch's reasoning for Ripple to be skaa? You said you agree with Creccio because Deathclutch has been right so far. But I'm not sure where/why Deathclutch said that and I don't have time to go digging through the threads.
  2. Creccio, I'm still not convinced that the roles aren't entirely random, which would completely invalidate your argument if that was the case. And what Ripple says about the skaa trying to kill discussion makes a lot of sense. Although, Ripple, I don't really blame phatt for agreeing with Creccio really quickly. I mean, last round we basically picked someone at random and agreed to lynch them. It's hard, with the lack of information.
  3. I'm inclined to agree with Ripple, Creccio. I'm a Coppercloud, and for a while I didn't want to reveal my role because I thought it would make me seem suspicious - I can't see much use for it unless I am a skaa, because it requires a lot of foreknowledge to use effectively. Just having a metal that would be useful to the skaa isn't a good reason to lynch somebody. But whatever. Let's lynch Coco first.
  4. I think we have two left, though it might just be one. Also, at this point I'm not really suspicious of Creccio anymore. He's been right fairly often, and has been very active. Let's see...we're still waiting on Venture Mistborn, who teased us with his suspicions but still hasn't delivered. The Honey Badger was active at the beginning, but we haven't seen anything from him in ages now, although didn't we consider lynching him at one point? I think it's basically trying to decide which of the inactives to kill at this point.
  5. Yeah, I am just going to vote for Winter as well, because I have to go to bed and won't be around for the end of the round. I have noticed that, while she's been active, she's mostly defending rather than contributing discussion, like other people have said. Plus I just want to make sure that skaa can't come in at the last minute and tie it up to prevent the lynch. Creccio, I'd like to know why you think Nico is skaa. Care to share?
  6. Well, I feel like Zephrer's role reveal should be a thing ripe for analysis, but I have no idea how to go about it. I'd bet at least one of the three people who voted for him (Creccio, Ripple, and Polking) and are still alive is skaa. I'm think at least one skaa would vote because they'd want to make sure there was a lynch. Out of those three, I'm most suspicious of Creccio, but he's been on my suspicion list for some time now. I really don't know about Ripple or Polking. However, I'm also equally certain that there is at least one skaa among the largely inactive players, trying to fade into the background so we overlook them and kill each other off. I'd be highly surprised if there wasn't. Here's my probably incomplete list of inactives: 1. Venture Mistborn (Maxisum) 2. Winter Cloud (Sophia Erikell) (Not as much recently, though) 3. The Honey Badger (Dagbert Honerion) (Haven't seen him in ages) 4. Nicocoberru (Coco) (According to her profile, hasn't actually been online in a week.) So far, suspicion has fallen on the first three, but each have avoided a lynch. And Venture, I'd like to hear from you too.
  7. I definitely think the lynch train on Alfa is definitely odd. I have a feeling that it's partly because people are inclined to go along with Deathclutch because of the forcefulness of his arguments and the fact that he's (probably) trustworthy. However, nothing Alfa has done has struck me as being immensely suspicious, other than being inactive the last cycle, and the lynch train could also be explained by skaa wanting him dead. If it is true that he is a pewterarm, they would probably rather have him lynched by us than risk a failed kill. Instead, I'm going to focus more on Zephrer. Many of us have been suspicious of him for the last two or three rounds, including me, but he's managed to wriggle his way out of a lynch each time, which I feel like is an indication of skaa. His teammates swinging the vote away from him, perhaps? I do realize he was active last round, and everybody's saying that the skaa are likely to have been less active then. While I think that's good reasoning, I don't want to set too much store by it, since as someone else said it could have been miscommunication or timezone confusion. Or maybe they wanted to screw with us and chose not to make a kill. (Is that something they can do?) Also, I love the name "Ripple Affect." (Can you tell I'm feeling better today? xD)
  8. The reason I haven't posted is because I've been really sick over the last couple of days and can't think coherently at all. I've been staying home, so I had time to read everything, but I didn't have the energy to analyze anything. I'm still pretty sick, but I'll try to cobble something together now. I find Deathclutch's style of gameplay to be...odd, to say the least. So far, what he has said doesn't seem to be easily disprovable, but I would like to hear some evidence on why he accused Honey Badger at the beginning. I'd also like to know why he thinks Badger has brass, but Badger says he is a Tineye. If someone could check tonight, that would be lovely. (I'm not a Seeker, so I can't.) I'm just going to come out and say my role, since I don't think it's very useful anyway. I'm a Coppercloud. I haven't used any of my charges because I can't see a reason to, so I still have 3 left.
  9. The only good thing about being sick is sleeping all day.

  10. I just finished it, and now I need emotional support. All I can think is that I'll never be able to read Alloy of Law in the same light again. Every time he feels bad about killing Lessie, I'll be a mess, thinking both "but you haven't" and "but you will!" When I read the reveal....man. For a moment, I didn't believe it - I thought there was no way he would go there. And then Wax's scene at the end... The other powerful moment was the bullet-spike reveal. The way Brandon kept that so cleverly hidden....just wow. And as soon as it happened, all these little odd bits made so much sense. Emotional trauma aside, I loved how much we see of Harmony (even though I wound up pretty angry with him), TenSoon and MeLaan. There was so much more from the first series in there, and it's awesome. I also thought it was cool how there was a sort of mini-revolution - it's like he's mirroring the pattern of the TFE and TWA, except more in the background. And I love how Steris is developing. I didn't like her much in AoL, but I really liked her in this and how she and Wax become a bit more close. The last scene especially is nice in that regard.
  11. This has given me a lot to think about. At first I was mostly just suspicious of Creccio and Zephrer, but now I'm suspicious of almost everybody again to some degree. Sigh. I'm really tired and don't think I can put together a coherent post, but I'll try. At first it seemed to me that Creccio and Zephrer were working together, but now that Zephrer is voting to lynch Creccio, that actually makes me less suspicious of him, simply because from an Inquisitor standpoint, Creccio is standing out as very suspicious, and if they are both skaa I can't really see a reason for him to want to lynch Creccio. The thing is, Creccio's posts seem so obviously skaa to me that I find myself doubting that a skaa would use this tactic on purpose, and it becomes an I Know You Know thing, which doesn't get us anywhere. Even still, I'm voting for Creccio. At the very least, the reveal of his role will provide us with things to analyze, and could be very helpful in evaluating Zephrer.
  12. I used to be Windows through and through, simply because the hefty price tag on Macs meant I had never even used one until a month ago. Last month, I started at a new school that requires everyone to have their own Macbook Airs for school use. And I love it. Let me be clear - I already owned a Windows 7 laptop, and that's what I regularly used, and I liked it. I really like Windows 7 overall. However, that laptop is more than 3 years old, and it is so very slow. I constantly worry that it's going to die on me soon. So when I switched to my brand-new Macbook Air, I was so very happy. Having used Macs for about a month, this is what I have to say on the topic: Macs make great laptops. I love the touchpad interface and all the things you can do at a swipe of the fingers. The battery life is actually decent, and it charges amazingly fast. The multiple-windows thing is also really nice for someone like me who likes to have a million things open at once. My old laptop, on the other hand, is a pain to use if you don't have a mouse. It's also a lot bulkier and not nearly as portable as my Mac. There are a few annoying things, like having to change my scroll settings every time I want to use a mouse, and if I wasn't able to enable the right-click feature right off the bat, I would have gone insane because I'm just so used to it. Overall, though, it has been an immensely positive experience. However, I still like Windows PCs, largely because they're so much more affordable, and there are a lot fewer compatibility issues. You also don't have to buy everything from Apple stores. I haven't seen much of Windows 10, but I don't think I'd like it very much. I just don't like change in general. XD I'll stick to Windows 7. My final say: if I were buying a largely stationary computer, I would want a Windows one, due to familiarity and a wider range of options. However, if I needed a laptop to carry around all the time, I would want a Macbook. Though I would probably still get a Windows one because of the price.
  13. Hmm, well now I'm not quite sure what to do. I've been suspicious of Joe for ages, but the fact that everybody is jumping on him now almost makes me want to reconsider. I was also becoming suspicious of Zephrer because of the reasons people have already said, in addition to the fact that Joe backed him up so quickly. Now that both of them are being voted on, and now that Joe wants to be lynched, I'm not quite sure what to think. For now, though my vote goes on Zephrer, mainly because although lynching Joe might be helpful even if he is not a skaa, I really want us to lynch a skaa this round and I feel like Zephrer is the more likely candidate.
  14. This is one of those things that makes me suspicious. Even though you say that you are taking this in reverse, crossing off who you are fairly sure are Villagers, and then only voting for someone when you are sure they are Skaa, your posts seem calculated to cast suspicion on Kas. For one thing, I find it interesting that a post by Zepher, a newer member, stating that he was voting for Kas based entirely on intuition with little analysis, was almost immediately backed up by you. It feels like you're hiding behind a shield of "I'm not actually voting for him because I'm not sure" in order to throw suspicion off of you, while hoping that your mere "suspicion" will be picked up by other players and garner enough votes for a lynch. I've been wary of voting so far, but now I'm going to cast my vote on Joe.
  15. Okay, I'm here at last. Due to an impressive level of derp on my part (basically I was subscribed to the wrong thread and didn't find the right one until it was too late) and timezones I haven't been able to post. I'm also feeling distrustful of Joe, but beyond what has been speculated already I can't say it's more than just a gut feeling. On the one hand, his plan does seem like something a skaa would do, but it also seems unlikely that a skaa would do something so obviously suspicious. In addition, several of his posts regarding his plan and what he intended to do seem to have severely flawed logic. And then it comes to the fact that his plan is indeed flawed. There are two possible reasons for this flaw - either it was a mistake on his part, or it was intentional. If it was a mistake, that could mean he is not a skaa and he just didn't think through his plan well enough. Or it could mean that he is in fact a skaa and that mistake reveals that the true purpose of his plan is to find people to kill. If the flaw was intentional...I'm not really sure why it would be intentional, but I think the idea is worth considering. Having missed most of the last round, I'm not familiar enough with the plan to analyze it in this light. Perhaps someone else could take a stab at it? I think the Araris situation is more complicated than that. There were two good reasons for voting for me last round - one is to encourage inactive members to be active, like he said. The other one follows this logic: newbie members who are skaa might choose not to post because they are wary of discovery or don't know how to act innocent. There are flaws with that, but it could be what he was thinking. However, if his goal truly is to get inactive members involved, well, if they get lynched on the first day, they can't really be involved after that, so voting for them could backfire. Even so, I doubt he is a skaa. If he were skaa, why try to get an inactive member, who isn't a threat at all, lynched? (Other than for the easy kill.) It also has clearly cast suspicion on him.
  16. I am a stick. Someone poured apple juice on me. I am now a Sticky Stick.
