Unfortunately the entire reason Hrathen is here is because he cannot prevent the Invasion. Why would Wyrn listen to him at this point? Furthermore, perhaps if you all converted to Shu-Derethi the invasion need not occur. But lets face it, Domi is sooo much better than Jaddeth amirite? -

Domisticated Soft humming greeted Hrathen’s ears as he opened his eyes, one of his priests came into focus against the overwhelming light. “Is it done?” he rasped hoarsely, “Indeed, my gyorn, the poison has taken full effect”. Another man walked in with a glass of water, which Hrathen graciously declined. “No, there is no time, take me to the gate” “My lord, are you sure you are well?” “Jaddeth will protect me” “May he wish it so, but there is something else…” The man helped Hrathen into a sitting position and showed him to a mirror. “Ah, I see” “What are we to do now my lord?” “Take me to the gates, do not fret, Jaddeth will protect me” The man sighed, “The demons will be the least of your worries my lord, your assistant exerts his influence over my colleagues more each day” “I know faithful one, but trust. Jaddeth will protect me” ------- SMASH The man jumped in surprise as the glass shards showered fell from the room’s high window. He looked to the bed inquisitively and stood in a defensive stance in front of it. Come one...come one…I’ve been expecting this...hurry...I need it… A shadow dropped down, knives glinting in the dark from the moonlight. “You are not what I seek” “Indeed, and you will not reach it fool. Your first thought was your first mistake, by entering my abode you have only hastened your death” “Step aside, you are not what I seek. Do not waste my time with your petty words” “Judge my words as you wish, but allow my actions to speak for themselves” The man felt the shadow’s anger as the air shifted. Their growl reached his ear. “So be it” ------ The cry came as he finished his meal. He wiped his chin slowly with one hand, drawing his sword with another. They had made the plans without him it seemed. ------ The two figures were locked in battle when he jumped down into the room. Before they could react from his arrival, he pounced on the man to the left, noting that his charge remained unharmed. They tumbled into the wall, his sword coming down to stab their shoulder. He heard them grunt as the defender pulled him off himself, slicing at them with his own blade. Divided, they stood and stared at each other. The man joined his charge and they both faced the defender. “You know what we seek, where are they” The defender laughed, “You will never reach my master” Yet, at that point, none of them had considered that yet another man would fall through that window. And fall he did. Right in the middle of them. Thunk “Wait a minute, none of you are who I’m looking for?” “What are you doing here?” “I could say the same for you” “Grr yes, now get out of our way” “Let me top that, allow me to join you!” ----- Yess the defender salivated, a real challenge for once. To think that his lynchpin finally bore fruit, that moths were finally attracted to the light. He hit them before they could possibly have been prepared. ----- Kaido could feel tears well in his eyes as the crowd surged towards him. All the time, all the searching, all the dissapointment. And it was going to end like this. “Even if you don’t turn out to be a traitor, we get information from this anyway” “But please, my son...at least let me see if he is here” “Sorry buddy, we know what tricks you Spirits have. Won’t work here” “Please…” They fell upon him. ----- Hrathen began his meditation the moment he entered Elantris, strangely no Elantrians seemed to be around. However, one did mutter quietly to himself in a corner, their head split open. So quiet...I did not expect this \\Event Initiated-Insertion// Hrathen has entered Elantris. Domi Domi Kielan crouched behind a fallen wall, and signalled to the others to move up the street. Kaido waved his hand for Kielan to move forward. Kielan frowned, and glanced over his wall. Spork, the hulking wildman they were sure was working for Galladon, was standing in the rubble of the abandoned restaurant along with some other Wildmen. Kielan was quite certain he was the closest to the beast, and that meant the others needed to move up. So he waved again for the others to move up. Daan shook his head vigorously and mouthed something at him. Kielan cocked his head, exaggeratedly mouthed what and cupped his ear. Daan snuck a peek out from behind his pillar, then hissed “get closer!” “You first.” “You!” Kaido pounded his fist into one hand threateningly at him. Daan glared. The Squid undulated. Diir rolled his eyes, then stood and strode menacingly into the restaurant. Kielan and Kaido both froze, then darted up and behind him, followed by Daan and the squid. The Wildmen inside looked up, except for Spork, who seemed to be playing with bits of metal. Diir pointed at Spork and spoke loudly and slowly. “Spork, Spirit. Evil. Food stealer.” Kielan looked at their faces, hoping to see some understanding. They had seemed to perk up at Diir’s words. “Food?”. Keilen sighed, Maybe he could help them along? He stood, walking up beside Diir and pointing as well. “Kill.” Keep it simple. That was the best way to deal with Wildmen. Diir looked at him in shock and, was that fear? Why? The Wildmen around Spork began to grunt and growl. They didn’t look perky anymore. They looked focused and expectant. He should probably keep reinforcing the idea. “Kill.” He pointed as vigorously as he could at Spork, using both hands now. “Kill!” Diir facepalmed. “You’re dead.” Kielan frowned, “What?” And then a Wildman tackled him. He screamed and raised his arms to try to protect his soft pretty face. More of the wildmen piled on top of him. “Someone! Help me!” “Quick everyone!” yelled Daan. “Get Spork while the Wildmen are distracted!” “No! Help me!” “I think Daan wants us to help him kill Spork!” “I hate all of you!” The Wildmen were still beating him as his human comrades ran past to attack Spork. He struggled valiantly against the Wildmen, taking numerous injuries. But there was no escape to be had. He closed his eyes, and began to pray to Holy Jaddeth. Immediately, a great weight was lifted from him. He snapped his eyes open to see the squid lifting the Wildmen from him and throwing them around the room. Panting, Kielan stood, and bowed slightly to the squid. “Thank you, you have saved my life. I will do my utmost to return the favor.” Another Wildman grabbed the squid from behind and tore it in half, throwing the pieces to opposite sides of the room. “Or not. I think I’ll just run away.” Corpses and Hoed littered the field. Diir was groaning, and dragging himself along the floor. Kielan ran to him and dragged the man’s arm up, supporting him. Half staggering from his own wounds, the two stepped over Flavio’s body and out of the Restaurant. “Are you sure about this princes?” Shuden inquired, warily looking at the gate of Kae. “What? Is the great JinDo martial artist afraid of a door?” Sarene poked him “Not the door...what lies behind it” muttered the man. “Haha, there’ll be nothing but pitiful half-livers I’m sure. You haven’t seen an Elantrian have you Shuden?” Eondel assured him. “No...not in the time I’ve been here” “Here my lady!” a voice cried from behind the trio. “Your escorts, along with the goods you ordered”. They turned around and saw a man in leather armour accompanied by a small band of other guards trailing carts as they turned around. “Awesome, glad to see you lieutanant”. “Just a humble officer my lady, delighted to meet you” They shook hands and the man gestured towards the doors, “Shall we?” “Oh this better not go sourly” Shuden muttered. \\Event Initiated-Widow's Trial// For the duration of Turn 6 all indidividuals may forgoe their normal action and instead send in an action to " Order Food" this lowers the pain levels of the recipient by 1, Injured become Pained and Pained become Healthy etc. Nothing was going well at all, even as Hrathen walked out of his office he nearly tripped. Tripped. Gyorns did not trip! Hrathen himself had not tripped in nearly 3 years, and at least on that day he had been in private… He shook his head and straightened himself up, looking around hastily to make sure nobody had seen his misdemeanour. Thank Jaddeth, nobody had. He left the Derethi monastery and began his usual walks around the city, wondering about what he should speak of in his next sermon in Elantris. The Demon angle seemed to be working with varying success and he seemed to rouse a decent congregation. Of course, a handful of people were not enough to convert a nation, in fact next to none of them had converted themselves. Hrathen needed to quickly think of something that would appease Wyrn, another Duladel case would not weight well on his conscience. Speak of the demons, Hrathen had finally rounded around to Elantris itself, and surely enough the gates were open, revealing a large group of guards and what seemed to be Sarene, of all people, handing out food to the wretched beings. Only a line of guards stood between the monsters and a large congregation that had gathered outside the gate. By Jaddeth Hrathen finally had an idea of what just might work! Iadon stared darkly out of his window and down towards Elantris. He watched the wretched girl hand out his valuable resources to the inhumans, pondering Telrii’s words from the night before. Of course...he did seem to be right, and if his intercepted message was to be held to truth, the girl was more than just an annoyance. Even still, she mocked him in his own halls, she infuriated him with her bold gall and decieved him with her act of being dull. Surely she was more than an annoyance...she and her father must be up to some nefarious plot. A plot to dethrone him and take the vacant throne through Raoden’s inheritance and her connections with Roial, Shuden and Eondel. Were they conspiring against him? Eventeo had always struck him as clever and suave, perhaps this was a manifestation of it. Perhaps his empire was under threat. If that was the case, the girl needed to be...removed from the equation. Even if his thoughts proved to be false, nobody would miss the girl. But her elimination had to be staged as a natural death...perhaps caused by her husband-to-be’s untimely death. Of course, he’d need to call upon some old contacts for the job. Vote tally Bard (4): Fifth, CadCom, Lopen, Crimsn CadCom (5): Meta, Bard, Steel, Kidpen, Alv Cadcom was lynched! He was a Wildman[/color!] Steel was killed! He was Dahad! Lopen was killed! Indomitable Hrathen received the message today, his Seon had lit up inside the monastery whilst he had been conversing with the fool Dilaf, almost jeopardising his entire plan. Not that the message helped the plan; Wyrn clearly had no faith in him. No matter, Hrathen was sure that the heretics would be converted by the end of the week. “My lord, are you free” the wretched man’s voice came from outside Hrathen’s door. “What are you in need of Dilaf?” “Your time, my lord, may I enter” “Of course” The door creaked open and the short man walked into the room. “You’re not getting anywhere are you Hrathen, have you reconsidered my plan?” All pretense dropped Hrathen smirked, “Of course, you and our lord may not have faith in the people of Arelon, but we do not need a repeat of Duladel. There must be some infrastructure and people left to follow Jaddeth” “Jaddeth rewards dominion, you know this” “Jaddeth needs people to reward, without full assimilation we are not saviours but base tyrants” Dilaf gritted his teeth and glared at Hrathen “You will not change will you my lord?” “No. I will not” “So be it” Telrii’s face glowed as he walked into Iadon’s throne room, things had been coming along quite nicely and now he only needed to consolidate his heirship from Iadon. “Greetings my lord! How do you fare?” “Ah Telrii, finally, a little relief from the usual drudgery that plague our halls” “Some drudge further than others I hear, is the girl bothering you my lord?” “No no, she’s proven to be quite fruit-full good friend despite her...charm.” Telrii faltered and cocked an eyebrow, “Is that so my lord?” “Indeed! Oh my, what do you say to taking her hand in wedlock?” “M-me? Marry her? So soon? Is that wise my lord” “Yes yes, of course! Our connections with Teod grow firmer each day and proper marital connection would finalise it for the future my friend, consider it?” “But...Atara? What of her” “Oh dear, I forgot about her that would be A tarable decision in that case, perhaps Roial...perhaps that would work”. “Of course, but may I bring something up about her my lord…” Graccas rolled his shoulders and looked at the knives in his hands with a grin on his face. “These will be great souvenirs! I can’t wait to show everyone that I’ve finally gotten them out”, feeling better than ever, Graccas left his abode and took to the streets. Well, that’s what he would have done had his door not been slammed open and a group of men hadn’t walked in. “Wait, who are you guys?” He inquired curiously, more people who wanted to kill him? “My my child, you have proven quite difficult to kill indeed, spirit scum” “Spirit? Nooooo I’m just an ambassador for Aanden...or was” “Silence wretch” “Yeesh, whatever you say man, just have fun with these knives”, and with his words Graccas attempted to throw his knives at them, with varying success. Varying in that one of them outrightly missed and the other was caught by one of his assailants. “Wow, I’ve only seen Hoedini do that” The man smirked and stabbed Graccas in his right shoulder. He gasped, “You were the one who tried to kill me before! I’m honoured, truly”. Another knife entered Graccas’ right shoulder, “And let me guess, yo-” He was silenced with a knife in his mouth. Unable to to move his jaw and say anything, his alarm was evident in his eyes as the speaker kicked him in the chest to the ground. “Goodnight” Graccas nearly fainted from the pain as a foot slammed into his face, pushing the dagger through his head and imbedding into the ground below him. The remaining people stabbed knives through his hands and feet, pinning them to the ground then left the scene, finally satisfied. Graccas prayed to Domi through the intense pain, thanking Domi for giving him everything he had ever wanted. Who knew I was this important And so ended Graccas, in a Coop de foudre. There resided in a small building Mii’s target, Mii had everything Mii needed to kill the man. Mii did not know why, but Mii knew it had to be done. And so with snail slime and coins less than dozen, Mii prepared for a boxing. As Mii’s target exited his abode, Mii pounced. Like a tiger, Mii was ferocious. Like a puma, Mii was dominant. Like a lion, Mii was victorious. Or so Mii thought as Mii found Mii with Mii’s slime shoved down his throat and two arms slamming Mii into the pavement. Mii stared at Mii’s target, confident that whilst he was not dead, Mii had dealt him some serious harm. Slowly, Mii found it hard to breathe as the Slime entered Mii’s lungs and filled them. Mii gave a forlorn cough through the hands wrapped around Mii’s neck and stared sadly at Mii’s target. Why did this always happen to Mii “Do you have a sighting on mother?” “Affirmative, pulling out recon team and preparing the hammer swing” “Understood, do we have the hammer prepared” “Almost, mother’s time will come” The children were not happy. Pulling together all their resources and taking up old bets and promises, they had successfully integrated into Aanden and Shaor’s gangs. And they wanted blood. Successfully coordinating their new operation, the Children had located Karata and were preparing for her final blow. “Everything is set, awaiting orders” “Go” They ran out, silent. One tackled Karata to the ground whilst another pulled a black bag over her head, wrapping their arms around her mouth to stifle her surprise. One more brought the noose out and wrapped it around the bag and her neck, pulling it tight. 3 more secured her body, forcing her still as they carried her to the highest balcony situated at the Elantrian palace. Silently they trudged, traversing the streets and climbing flights of stairs. Only until they reached their destination did they release Karata and allow her to speak. “Why?” She rasped, “Have I taught you nothing” “You should never have abandoned and betrayed us mother” “You fools...I did it for you, Spirit means the best for all of us...he gave me no choice” “We would have died before we ever betrayed you” Karata laughed, “And what is all this?” “Retribution” they uttered, throwing her off the balcony and collectively holding the noose- ensuring she never reached the ground. “I did it for youuuu” Karata screamed as she fell, her voice fading into a sickening crack as her neck broke and the rope ran taut. Grimly, the children tied the ends of it to the balcony posts, leaving Karata hanging. As a message for the Spirits, they were coming for them. Vote Count: Elandera was lynched! She was Karata of the Spirits Coop was killed! He was an Independent/Baron ambassador! Meta Terminal was attacked but Survived! Mailliw was killed in Action! He was a Wildman! RanDOMIsation “You know, it is customary for widows to engage in some form of community work around here” Queen Eshen piped up, “Maybe that will help you keep your mind off my late son, doing things for others helps me forget sometimes”. Sarene snorted internally, as if anything the queen did helped anyone, she meant well but she was a bit scatterbrained and often posed as an obstacle herself. “Great...and what exactly do you suppose I should do to keep myself occupied?” “Well, typically women would do some act of charity towards for the poor or needy of Kae, some have even sewn clothes for the homeless and established bathhouses for residential citizens. Perhaps you could do something like that?” “I’ll think about it, thanks” Iadon sighed in frustration. Things were not looking good, the gyorn had come once again to pester him about converting to Shu-Dereth, money was beginning to run dry and Telrii was pushing more and more each day to take over. Then there was the matter of the girl, constantly eavesdropping and interrupting his business, it was too bad he needed the alliance with Teod. He rubbed his forehead and looked around his throne room, empty for the first time in 4 days. A knock came from the double doors at the end of the hall. He cursed quietly…”Enter”. Sarene’s head poked out of the door, Speak of Domi… “What do you want child”. “Your permission my lord, in exchange for a fruitful little deal with Teod…” Raoden sat inside the room, staring at the luminescent pool, its gleaming white surface shining still, beckoning him closer. He could feel some force within him trying to free itself and with shaking hands he drew Aon Rao...Spirit, Essence. It was the first time he had been truly alone in a while, having been busy planning and scheming for the unification of Elantris and the unlocking of the Aons. Raoden sighed quietly as the Aon dissipated in front of him, leaving only disappointment behind. He was close, he could feel it and the pool must have been some sort of key to his puzzle...if only he had the time to figure it out. With a heaving groan he got up and stretched. He walked over to the pool, intending to inspect it another time, he’d contemplated stepping into it but had decided it was too risky, who knew what the white stuff was. He leaned over the water, his reflection hard to see through the glowing light. His heart would have skipped a beat that instance had it been beating regularly; a figure stood behind him in his reflection. “Wh-” slam Raoden couldn’t finish his sentence as the figure grabbed his head and thrust him into the water. He struggled as his world turned upside down, only his head and shoulders were submerged in it, Huh, so its shallow a dazed voice inside his head spoke. All thoughts disappeared however, as the liquid filled his mouth, nose and burned his eyes. Hello child, a strange voice spoke. He felt himself thrust deeper into the pool, his back partly submerged now and his ears popped, almost as if the pool weren’t shallow but deep in the ocean. His senses became overcome as he started gurgling, the liquid forcing itself through his body. Peace child, come with me, the voice spoke again. Yet Raoden could not respond, his body suddenly remembered that it needed to breathe and he became overcome with fear, his arms flailing uselessly by his side. A sharp pain shot up his arms as another figure crushed his hands under their feet, pinning his arms down behind him. Raoden tried to scream as he felt pain shoot up his back. The sound of tearing flesh and breaking bone echoed in the room as his body became the subject of a sword as another figure started sawing into his waist. Yet Raoden heard nothing of it, overcome with pain, confusion and fear. He could barely register the voice as it began incessantly calling to him. With each call he could feel his spirit detach from his surroundings, leaving him slipping in and out of numbness and intense pain. He barely registered the blood splattering against his torso and spurting from his abdomen as the sawing continued. Thunk, thunk, thunk, the back of his head exploded in pain as blow upon blow rained upon him from the figure holding the same head down. Yet Roaden soon felt nothing as he blacked out from the pain, felt nothing as his torso slapped against the bloodsoaked floor and his legs were pulled away from him. His unconscious state could not resist the calls any longer and soon he began being consumed by the Pool. The blows stopped as the figures realised his head was disappearing. They kicked the remaining body he had into the pool where it continued being absorbed by the liquid. Startled by the transformation and soaked in the blood of their victim, the figures left Raoden’s legs in the corner of the room, strewn among sodden floor. With hushed voices and sick faces the figures hastily exited, noting the abnormal pool. It was when Graccas stood conversing with the enigmatic Aanden that he felt his other shoulder explode in pain. He nearly cried in joy as he noticed that there was a knife sticking out of the pained shoulder. His other only ached deeply now, it was annoying but he enjoyed it in all honesty. Now he had another wound to add to his collection, just more proof that people wanted to kill him, he loved the attention. “Uhh, you seem to have a knife sticking out of your other shoulder now child” “Yep! I’ve noticed, isn’t it cool? Isn’t bleeding as badly as the last one. Remember that one? I can tell you about it again if you want. Though I don’t have much time, I am a wanted man afterall, very busy being hunted and killed” “Remembrance is needless, I can quite clearly see the knife sticking out of your other shoulder child, are you sure it doesn’t hurt anymore?” “Quite sure, quite sure” Only things weren’t that sure, and the hurting had only just begun. Graccas was tackled aside suddenly as a figure sprung out of a door. That was when the building fell on them. Almost, Graccass found himself unscathed mostly as the building fell only partially over his bottom half, hitting the stranger mostly. He blinked slowly and looked at the stranger in the eye. “You okay there? Huh no, you seem to be unconscious. Well then I might as well just-” he slowly scooted out from underneath the stranger “- remove myself from being under this building”. His heart skipped a beat as he attempted to get up, leaving him squatting awkwardly for a full 10 seconds as he ‘suddenly’ remembered Aanden. “Ack! Where is he?” He exclaimed, jumping to his feet and waving the rolling dust away from his nose. “Aahhh Aanden! Are you okay?” He screamed as he saw his friend face down on the floor. Only when he got closer did he notice the knife in Aanden’s back, and the pool of blood seeping out from under him. “Oh my god, you must be more important than me to get a knife in the back, I’ve only gotten one in each shoulder”. He approached the body nervously as Aanden did not respond, typically Elantrians would stay conscious even when under the most extreme trauma, yet Aanden had not said a single word, not even a hoed mantra. Graccas stepped over the blood and slowly lifted Aanden’s head, gasping as he saw that Aanden’s neck had been eviscerated, his eyes stared intently into Graccas’ own eyes, full of pain and anguish. “Oh my god, you’re Hoed, who did this? Aanden what do they plan on doing??” Graccas could almost swear that Aanden’s eyes rolled at his last words. Mii can see that there be dead body inside room. Mii very excited, room contain gleaming white pool and pair of legs. Legs belong to Spirit Mii is certain. Mii shall finish exploring and go tell the others of Mii’s great discovery! Spirit was dead! Strange pool be found! “Oh shut up you imbecile, we all know this information. We are the ones that killed Spirit and found him with the Pool, not you”. Mii’s head hung low, Mii was sad because Mii thought that exploring would lead to something important and when it did it turned out to be pointless. “What’s that? Karata has disappeared?” Mii’s head shot up, “Mii could explore and find her?” They looked at Mii and decided to ignore them, “You sure?” “So she left a note?” “Right, right, so she was with Spirit?” “Right...and what of the Children?” “Ah, well here they come now, we should thoroughly ensure their allegiance before we decide to do anything with them…” “Stupid byach, should have expected nothing more from her, I saw the way she looked at Spirit’s eyes” They smirked, “Well I guess she can’t do that now at least” Event Initiated// Devotion’s Perpendicularity Unlocked Devotion’s Perpendicularity Players may announce to their faction docs that they desire to be taken to the pool upon the instance of their death. Do (Re) Mi It was early in the mourning that Sarene was greeted with the realisation that her husband was dead. Roial and Eonden had assured her that he had been a good man, yet she felt nothing but bitterness over his death. He was gone, she was alone and all that remained was an empty marriage soldering Teod and Arelon. Fat lot of good the alliance did for her. “You need to snap out of this demeanour, my lady” her seon glowed, “Your father needs you to consolidate the alliance”. “I know Ashe...I just can’t shake the fact that I’m going to be alone again. I kinda liked him Ashe”. “I know my lady, but it won’t do you any good to be despondent, perhaps you should go make yourself busy with the other court ladies. I hear they are gathered in one of the ballrooms”. She sighed and looked at him in annoyance, “And I assume you won’t stop bothering me until I go”. “You know me well my lady”. “Do you have the money?” “Straight to the point, you live up quite masterfully to expectations young master” The Duke grunted and rolled his neck, “You do not take that tone with me, understand heretic scum? I am only doing this because it benefits me” “Why of course, and what of your promises lord?” “All will come in due time, all will come that is due” “So you say, and what of the old man and the swordsman?” “They will cause no problems, I am the first in line- nobody can dispute this” “Heirship is not what concerns me” “Of course it isn’t! Trust fool, I have things handled” “As you wish” Shuden did not ask for this, oh no he did not. They were almost on his lap, the lot of them. All of them. No he did not want this. But he had to admit, a small part of him enjoyed the attention. It wasn’t everyday he got to show off his culture and skill. Even if he claimed to just be an amateur, the ladies were certainly impressed. Ah, there was the young princess. “Sarene!” he called, “Come join us, we’re embarking on a different course of action than the usual embroidery we ladies engage in”. He nearly blushed as the room echoed with light laughter, projecting the voices around him. Sarene cocked an eyebrow and he grinned, “you know you’re interested” he smirked. She walked over and stood amongst the ladies around him. Shuden jumped suddenly, startling a few ladies then landed in a strange stance. He moved gracefully into another form, fist extended and leg drawn back in an arc. “ChayShan, ever seen it?”. “No, I can’t say that I have”. “So you lived up to your name in the end”. Rat looked up and tilted his head in confusion at the newcomer, “Who in Domi’s twelth name are you? And how do you know my name”. Two more people moved out from behind, brandishing clubs. “We’ve been watching you, you’re with Spirit aren’t you” one of the other uttered. “Spirit? No! I’m faithful to mother” Rat exclaimed, “Who are you people??” They looked at each other, the first individual revealed a hoe from within their jacket. They nodded and advanced upon Rat. “No, no, no, you’ve got the wrong man, I swear upon Domi” “Alas we can’t believe you, your death will determine your faith” THUNK The hoe was swung, swung hard. Rat didn’t remember the swing, but it must have been hard. Hard enough that when it hit him he could feel it imbed into his cheekbone. Pain, pain shot through his face as he felt the bone crack and his body fling to the ground. Pain, as a club bashed into the back of his head, his vertebrae rubbed against themselves and dislodged. Pain, as another club hit the other side of his face, shattering his jaw and nearly snapping the bones in his face in half as they too cracked, edging closer to his opposite cheek. It was quick, and it is painful. He could not speak, his jaw hung open and blood filled his mouth. He could not scream, his throat was pierced by a rogue vertebrae. He could not breathe, his nose leaking with spinal fluid from his brain. Yet he lived. “That did not take much” “Brutal, had to be done, had to be done” “We’ll take him to the ganglords, they’ll know if he’s a Spirit or not” Rat got hoed badly. It was nearly midnight when Sign (pronounced Psy-guh-ne) felt the knife in his shoulder. “There seems to be a knife in my shoulder. Huh, someone must have tried to...kill me” He poked the knife and wondered why it didn’t hurt as much as he thought it would. He considered pulling the knife out like Raomb from his books once did but decided it probably wouldn’t be a good idea seeing as the knife wound nearly killed Raomb once he had removed it. “Idos Domi, somebody tried to kill me!” he laughed, “Someone thinks I’m worth being killed!” Giddy with happiness, Sign went to bed. Knife in his shoulder and all. Vote Count: YoungBard(2): Cadmium Compounder, MetaTerminal BR(1): Alvron Sart(3): Mailliw, Devotary, Brightness Straw(2): Drought, Kidpen Sart was lynched!
