Vasher—-a Returned, with a Divine Breath and an easy supply of ‘lesser’ Breaths, suddenly becoming a Knight Radiant? Ouch.

No clue.
I have no idea.
Everyone must donate the first donut they buy to me, the more sugar-y, the better.
Yes...they’re tasty.
Because.
Negative infinity squared.

I want more Threnody! I want more First of the Sun! These two Splinterworlds are crying out for expansion! Silverlight is a little too crossover-y for me. Cosmere crossovers are cool and all, but these two Splinterworlds definitely need fleshing out.

Wow. I’m an old man, next to you pups. I’m 39. Started reading Cosmere stuff only a few years ago!

True...but Bavadin refers to the new avatar as ‘she’.

Patji is depicted as a male god, though. That rebuts the ‘she’ idea.

I like it! The God Beyond could be Adonalsium’s Cognitive Shadow, or its aspect in the Spiritual Realm, or even both. They Shattered Adonalsium in the Physical Realm, mistakenly believe this would ‘kill’ it...which, to a certain extent, they did succeed!

Well, you can read Siri and Hoid's interaction. Hoid is the storyteller in the court of gods who tells Siri and Lighsong about the origins of the God Kings.
True.
....now I feel like a moron. Ha!

Or something African. Like, old Aethiopia, or Great Zimbabwe. The continent is so old, you basically stumble over ancient cultures there. To bad few of them had writing.
While we're at it, there are quite a lot of ancient cultures in the north-african-and-middle-east-area that are rarely used in fantasy (or even historical fiction, for that matter) who had scripture... If someone can pull this off, it's Sanderson. Ans since Sel is likely the most multicultural shardworld known at the moment (though Roshar and Nalthis are close, and ancient Scadrial might have been even more - 100+ active or semi-active religions tell quite a lot) with cultures that are very distinctive from each other, such things are pretty much possible.
Of course, the third empire might be something "boring" like a standard medieval fantasy setting, something like "lord of the rings minus the dragons". It still can be pulled off amazing with Sanderson's skill.
This! This! Fantasy faux-Africa is sorely lacking in fantasy fiction, these days.

I think the writer of the 2nd letter in Oathbringer was Bavadin, also.
Consider:
Bavadin blockaded Taldain, yet she keeps meddling with other planets. Autonomy says, “I will make my own decisions, and I’ll make sure that never changes.” She’s meddling, I think, to seize as much power as she can to keep herself and Taldain safe.

The Shard roaming about the Cosmere could be Fear or Trepidation, or maybe Suspicion. A Shard with an Intent like that’d be averse to making friends or settling down.

Also, by the end of Warbreaker its pretty clear that Susebron and Siri have some feelings for each other so why would Susebron go and marry Vivenna?
Oh, I agree Vivenna and Susebron are likely not married. I was just playing Devil’s advocate, earlier!

Ah! Thanks!

Dominion likes to lead. Devotion likes to follow. Psychologically, them cooperating should have been obvious from the very start.

Ha! That’s awesome! I’d love to read Hoid’s encounter with Vasher and/or Vivenna...or Siri and/or Susebron, for that matter...!

...then again, ancient kings in the real world often had a whole bunch of wives, not just one.
....granted, I seriously doubt this is the case.

I have unfortunately been away from the 17th Shard —-I misplaced my password, like a numbskull—- but I am stupidly happy to hear Vivenna showed up in Oathbreaker. I found Warbreaker to be absolutely awesome! First Vasher, now Vivenna! W00t!

Odium's role in the overall Cosmere?
in Cosmere Q&A

I think Autonomy is going to the final Big Bad. Odium is the Big Bad on Roshar, but I find it odd that Autonomy has been revealed to have ‘an empire’ among Shardworlds and Splinterworlds.
