Yep the battery life is a big difference as well, good point. 

A friend of mine is bout  6'8" and it really is funny how many people come up to him in pubs saying: "You're tall."

Or even: "How are you so tall?"

Thanks for the replies, especially Pestis the Spider! I feel I am one hundred per cent informed now. I had been looking at a Samsung Galaxy tablet, they do look quite attractive but Im not sure if I actually need all the functions. It might be nice to be able to watch movies, but I dont think I would do much surfing on it. So I guess a Kindle is really all I need. And its cheaper as well! I can always check my emails on my phone.

I'm thinking of getting a tablet or and e-reader, just not sure which one makes more sense. Kindle is better to read and easier on the eyes (and cheaper) but with a tablet I could also surf the web, email etc. Theres probably no gadgets that do both are there?

I quite like the simplicity and greyscale plus red colour palette. Especially that red swoosh across, looks awesome. They're quite different to what I expected but I think they're a bit bolder than the previous ones. 

Thanks everyone! I have only recently started to read the Sanderson, almost done with the Mistborn series now... I am quite a slow reader but completely hooked already. I really like the first one especially.
