You have a storms take you list??
It's like Arya's list in Game of Thrones, but less sociopathically terrifying.

No more dead Kholins!
Thank you so much for making these. I thoroughly enjoyed them. Now counting on more of the same for all future Brandon books :-)

Am I the only one surprised by how well Feather held that together? I wasn't expecting her to be able to keep on reading right away!
Possible the best quote ever: "I'm sorry I tried to set you up with her" :-)

How can you stop there? How?? This is not fair!!!!
(runs off to re-read chapters 85+)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't figure out Zahel on my first readthrough. It's pretty intimidating when I miss all these non-explicit things, then come here and the forums are full of "well obviously, that wasn't even hidden at all..." :-)

Also, I'm glad I listened to previous episodes before these last few! In isolation they would have given me a totally wrong impression of Feather. "Grrr! They're being cute! Dang it, now they're having a touching bonding moment! So disgusting!" :-)
Polar opposite of my reaction reading these chapters...

The answer to the question "do I want to do part 5 tonight" should always be YES. Good call!

"Let me count the pages.... ok one more chapter"
Been there so many times :-)0 -
A giant glowing glyph appears in the air as Feather speaks the First Ideal of the Order of the Traveling Splintercasters: "I will keep up on these edits, even amidst travelling"...

Very true that Brandon does an unusually good job of keeping a character interesting through more than one chapter of them being statically locked up in prison.
But this comment makes me wonder, have you read Mordant's Need by Stephen Donaldson? If not you should, firstly because it's a great couple of books (I so want to hear a Splintercast reaction to King Joyce in book 2!) but also because of how many key scenes and important character developments happen while one person or another is behind bars. Very impressive writerly display of using imprisonment as a metaphor for shifting power dynamics and internal psychological states.

Feather, serious kudos on continuing to struggle with your computer issues all the way through chapter 57! I think I would have given up and just read the book :-)

It's so good, you don't even know. But you will. Oh you will.
Oh, I know. My imagination is fully up to this task :-)

If you pace this just right, you could finish posting the last WoR chapter the day before Brandon's next book comes out. I think he's prolific enough to keep up with you.
Because you are going to continue doing this for all future Brandon novels until the end of time, right? :-)0

This is true for present day Earth technology level. Alternatively, though, this could be a reference to quantum computers. Cytonics sounds quite quantum-ish, and there's possible correlation between more advanced computing tech, ability to create real AI, and quantum level interference...
So there is speculation about whether Doomslug will be significant or is just comic relief, yet you all accept M-Bot's mushroom obsession as unimportant / joke?
I think not. Fungus biology is going to be a big deal for the future of this story. M-Bot remembers that, but has forgotten why it matters.
