Finally succeeded in registering here (been having trouble with that for a week now), and thought i would drop in and say hi.
I am lifelong fan of F/SF books and television. Started reading Brandon a few years back when it was announced he was going to complete tWoT series after the passing of Mr. Rigney.
Recently have become obsessed with all things Cosmere, as I find it to be a brilliant and ambitious project, as well as the fact that I had thought at one point of writing a collection of series starting as fantasy, but ending as SF, about several worlds all within the same created universe. Instead I went with the other massive idea I had of focusing on two worlds, one being Earth, and the other being a fantasy world I created. I plan to follow my fictional world through its history from bronze age to space age, from use and belief of magic to focus and acknowledgement only of science (magic vanishes). So yeah, happy to see Brandon went the route he did, leaves my idea open to continue working on (currently working on two separate novels at once in this universe of mine, one SF based around people from Earth, the other fantasy set on my created world).
Love Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Middle-Eart (books and fail), Battlestar Galactica (RDM), and most of the other standard fare in geek genres.
I am a wotmania.com refugee, readandfindout.com expat, and westeros.org exile (don't ask, long story). Sometimes commenter at io9.com (still in The Grays), winteriscoming.net, and on Adam Whitehead's (Werthead) blog "The Wertzone."
