Shardmollusk Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Hi, I'm new to the 17th Shard. I've read most of the Cosmere, just have to finish up Mistborn era 2, and so far the Stormlight Archives is my favorite of the books, of which WoR is probably the best. 3

I see the characters as the most important part of the books so I'm not really super into any of the magic systems. I'd certainly rather be a Feruchemist than a Mistborn, but I know my way around Allomancy much better; I can recognize all of the symbols and name all of the metals we know of. But I wouldn't say it's my favorite system. I love the idea of Surgebinding, but I think my favorite is probably AonDor because of how mysterious it is and how it directly draws from Dominion and Devotion's locked powers. 1
