That's actually quite a good answer. I cannot believe I didn't think of it before. Thank you. This has been bothering me. I've been trying to figure out if Sanderson put that as a hint of some other force at work. 1

Now I think of it, its a testament to how good a writer Sanderson is that I think of potential literary mistakes as intentional hints to the reader.
