Who owns the rights to 17th Shard?

I was thinking about the possibility of t-shirts for 17S, when something occurred to me: 17th Shard is an in-universe organization, so Brandon presumably owns the name. So, if we theoretically made 17S merchandize, would we need to get the rights from Brandon first?

That's between Brandon and the site, actually. We are using the name (modified for URL convenience, yes) with Brandon's direct permission. I don't really want to get too into it before I have things in writing, but from the discussions I've had with Brandon I do have the right to make merchandise bearing the name 17th Shard.

 

Also, in Brandon's work, you can search for "17th Shard" all you want and you'll never find it. The in-universe organization is always referred to as the "Seventeenth Shard".
