Arin he/him Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Do all of the events in the visions that Dalinar have take place at night or in the dark? I haven't finished a re-listen to WoR yet, but the first vision was during dusk. In WoK I don't know if they all did, but I think so. Please let me know if I am wrong. I was thinking that if they are, then could that mean something about the desolations and Voidbringers and darkness? If the desolations have something to do with the darkness, maybe that is why the plants grow on stormlight and not sunlight. If I am wrong about the visions, then this theory is not for reading. LinkasZelda Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Nope. The vision where he fought the thing in the water was in daylight iirc and so was the one with Nohadon. At least, that's how I imagined them... I also pictured the last one in WoK when he saw the Almighty in daylight.
