Hi, I have been actively reading/listening to tWoK since 2012, and was eagerly awaiting WoR. After reading it I just feel really hyped up about the stormlight archive and would like to discuss it.

For quite some time I thought that Stormblessed.com was the main forum but it was kind of dead. Finding out about this page now is really exciting. I sure have some lurking to do now.

I guess I will need to read up on some generally accepted theories before I start posting, so as to avoid making topics and questions already made or answered.

Just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you were able to find it. Are the stormlight books the only Sanderson work you've read? If you do a little searching around on here, you might might find that Roshar is part of a much bigger universe (cosmere) than you realized.

Since WoK I have read WB MB and Steelheart, and enjoyed every one of them. Warbreaker was probably my favourite non Stormlight book.

I originally picked up Wok because of Brandons good work on the WoT series by Robert Jordan. And my local bookstore had this buy 3 pay for 2 books offer so I went browsing for a third free book to pick up. Saw an awesome cover on the pocket part 1 of WoK and recognized Brandons name. A no brainer.
I then got the full audiobook and probably have over 20 relistenings total. moreso the latter parts of the book.

I'm already liking these forums. I used to be a bigtime lurker and occasional poster in the Dragonmount WoT forums, and I already find that the general knowledge compared to mine own seems much higher here =). Which is great because I don't mind learning from other people's discoveries.

Favourite thread so far is the WoR reactions (SPOILER) thread. Can you recommend any similar ones?

Well if you want to catch up on how all Brandon's cosmere books relate, you could try the Cosmere 101 thread.

If you don't already know, this forum has it's own wiki about all things Sanderson called the Coppermind. Lots of great information on there.

The WoR Reactions thread is about reactions to the book as a whole. A similar thread is Lets Talk about Kaladin's Attitude. More about Kaladin's story arc in particular.

Some recent threads I found quite humorous are the Zombie Survival Guide and Your Favorite Inanimate Object.

Beyond that... there are tons of great threads that I couldn't begin to list. So go have fun exploring ;)
