DocHoliday he/him Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I begin with a question. What name did Hoid use as the storyteller in Warbreaker? I wish my copy was on hand, but alas. Pg. 976 "Do you know where the Kings Wit is?" Zahel, " That fool, Dust? Not here, blessedly." Dust, in this sentence, is a name. If the theory about Zahel is correct, then with this evidence, Vasher knows Wit to be a Worldhopper. Furthermore, I speculate that they're working together with Nalan. I'll have to go back and check for the references, to see if Hoid was walking about with Nightblood at any time: all I remember was v something about a slim sword.
Khyrindor he/him Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Well, time for me to read Words of Radiance again. be back in a couple days
Shale Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) He wasn't named in the published version, but supposedly in an early draft he's introduced to Lightsong as Dust. So, ding ding ding! Edited March 13, 2014 by Shale
+rhaiynebow Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Plus, if I'm remembering correctly, didn't he use colored "dust" in his storytelling? 1
DoctorWh0m he/him Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 That's related to his Yolenese Lightweaving. He uses it in the Liar of Partinel chapters that have been released.
