Hi guys.  I'm from North Augusta, South Carolina.  There doesn't seem to be much of a Brandon Sanderson following where I live, no matter how much I praise his work.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I was the only one.  I know that the fandom is larger in Atlanta, Ga., but that's nearly three hours away.  So it looks like it's just me holding the torch for now.  I have been a hardcore Fantasy reader for a very long time.

@Herowriter welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote.

A piece of advice: keep well away from any offered cookies. They're know to have some.... interesting.... side effects.

@Herowriter, definitely don't take the cookies.... or say any words told to you by people offering cookies (like: My life to yours...).

Have an upvote, and who's your favorite Sanderson character?

Also, I know no one who has read Sanderson, so I get what's it's like you be the only one (Why don't people listen to book recommendations?)

Welcome friend @Herowriter! Have an upvote! Do listen to aforementioned advice and avoid the cookies. Although I tried them once and they don't taste half bad... barely escaped later though.

What books have you read? Any favorites?

I have only read the first three books of the Stormlight Archive and the first book of Mistborn, but I have collected the Mistborn trilogy and Ellantris.  I plan to read them as soon as I finish the Wheel of Time series.  I have collected all fifteen books, but I am only on book four.  So it's going to be awhile.

Hi @Herowriter! I am new to the forum as well and am the lone Sanderson reader in my town. I've lent books, discussed their merits, and even attempted to explain the Cosmere to some but all to no avail. Maybe in the end, we will be able to say "We'll always have the 17th Shard."

@Herowriter Good luck with WoT series! I started in 2011 but finished only last year... I am sure you can beat that :) but it did get a bit tedious at times

Have you read Warbreaker? (Brandon has it free on his website) That cosmere story might make Stormlight Archive a tad more interesting...
