So we have WoB that red is the colour seen when you have one Shard corrupting the essence of another, which is why you get corrupted Spren with glowy red eyes.

Oathbringer goes a step further and confirms that Humans are the Voidbringers on Roshar, since they are the ones that brought Odium to the planet.

Throughout all three Stormlight books so far, the Parshmen/Parshendi/Singers/Listeners are described as red and black or red and white marbled skin, and we know from Oathbringer that the Listeners were the original inhabitants of Roshar, and therefore, followed Honor and Cultivation. We also know that, over time, the Listeners were eventually overthrown  and replaced as the dominant culture on Roshar, even usurping their Gods and the bonds with Spren. In response to this, the Listeners turned to the Voidish 'God' that the Humans had brought with them, Odium. Before this happened, were the ancient Listeners marbled with black and white skin?

In the context of Investiture, Red is a clue of infection/corruption but not everything red is it. It's like to say that every redhead is result of Shardic's influence or albino guys too

I know that there are other instances of red out there that have nothing to do with corrupted investiture, but this one struck me as interesting. We know that the Listeners turned to Odium (or at least his servants) when Honor and Cultivation turned their attention to the Human refugees. Is it not possible that Odium's influence over them corrupted them to the point where it was visible? Especially when Odium and his minions got into the Listener gemhearts.

Also, pretty much unrelated, but do you think Rock also has a gemheart?
