bridge4 he/him Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Hi everyone =) I've loved every Brandon Sanderson work that I've read so far, so I refer to him as my favorite author. - started with Elantris - then did the first mistborn trilogy - way of kings - elantris again - words of radiance - elantris a third time - the first mistborn a second time - and stormlight a second time =) "whitespine uncaged" OMGGGG I have Warbreaker and "the alloy of law" on the bookshelf, but I've been so jammed up the last year that I haven't had a chance to crack them open unfortunately. With Oathbringer coming out soon, I decided to start a re-read of Stormlight Archive today. Right now, I am midway through chapter 3 in Kharbranth. =)) I plan on stalking this forum going forward =) Hope everyone is doing well!! - Kev 3
CaptainRyan he/him Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 @bridge4 Kaladin is one of my favorite characters are well. He has such powerful scenes! Amaram's army & his squad, Tien's death, the rescue at the Tower, Whitespine Uncaged, the speaking of his oaths, his internal struggle with feelings of failure, etc. Love it all! 1

WhiteLeeopard she/her Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 You should try Warbreaker as soon as you have time. May be relevant for Oathbringer. 1

WhiteLeeopard she/her Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 No. Edgedancer is a novella. Warbreaker's main protagonist has a cameo in SA. And you get more info on the strange Shardblade Szeth got at the end of WoR.
