Calderis he/him Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 My vote goes with plate normally. Pewter has been described as roughly 2x strength normal, 3x strength flaring. In tWoK when Dalinar is digging the trench he calls for his Warhammer. 2 laborers together can barely lift it, and he picks it up easily one handed. Of course pewter with Duralumin you be crazy strong for an instant and would definitely win out, but I really hope you don't need that strength for long. 1

If that's true I think the 2x burn 3x flare projection undervalues pewter. That scene at the latrine trench demonstrates just how heavy a shardbearers hammer is, and 2x strength is not going to make that easily usable in combat.
