Am I the only person who doesn't like Name of the Wind?

I honestly will not give it the time of day. Wit is fairly subjective (except for Oscar Wilde. He is objectively witty) and I don't want to start a trilogy that will never be finished.

Finished The Wise Man's Fear last night. A lot longer than the first one, and probably not as good overall, but for the most part I still enjoyed it. Would say I'm excited for the third book, but it's probably best to not get worked up thinking about it lol.

i enjoyed it, but I thought AWMF was better only because that just seems to be the way books that are in a series go with me. For example I liked The Great Hunt way more than eye of the world, I liked Stone of Tears way better than wizards first rule and so on. The first book in my opinion is just preparing me for awesomeness later. In kingkiller chron. I enjoyed everything except the stupid girl he's after. Almost skipped some parts but I trudged through.
