A New Face

Hello Everyone!

For a bit more than two years I have lurked in the shadows. I picked up Brandon's Cosmere works shortly after he finished up The Wheel of Time. Somehow I had managed to make it all the way through highschool and most of college without ever reading a single book in my life. Midway through my junior year in college I picked up Eye of the World from the library. It was like a whole new world was opened up to me (because that is exactly what happened). I realized that I had been missing out on a wonderful experience for more than 20 years of my life!

In reaction to my self-imposed set back, I started to make up for lost time. I devoured Jordan's works and was devastated to find out that he had recently died. When Brandon took it up I was extremely happy to see it finished and I thought that was it for my reading career. I was happy to be wrong. Since then I have read as much fantasy as I could but Brandon's world building and intersecting but independent novels won my heart.

I have read through all of the Cosmere works several times now (except White Sand as I never had it in me to ask for a copy), most if not all of the Coppermind wiki, and a chunk of these forums. I never bothered posting, but that changes tonight! I am excited to join your wonderful community if you all would have me.
