What's in the box?  What's in the box!?   Sorry I went a little Brad pit there for a second.

Right so Renarin's fidget box (best name I could think of) is that supposed to be one of his eccentricities due to being on the spectrum, or is this his way of keeping glys hidden, tucked away and or safe much like Shall an with pattern and the safe?  Or early morning thought that just popped in my head is the box glys? Thank you for your time and good day.

I think we have a WoB who said that Glys isn't in the box.

Another Sharder explained (in some post I can't remember at the moment) that with some case of Autism, little personal object may help the a person from being overhelmed by external stimulation and keep the calm...Therefore I think the box is just a way to Renarin to cam himself

I don't know what's in the box, but I think the box itself is a trinket passed to Renarin from his mother. As Adolin has the locket, i just always assumed the box was Renarins version of the locket.

Just a though but maybe the box was once used to store the necklace... The necklace was important to mother, so when she died, the boys slip it in two: Adolin kept the necklace as it isn't hard to imagine fashion-savvy little Adolin admiring his mother's jewelry while more practical Renarin preferred to keep the box to fidget whenever he felt nervous, anxious or just out of the place.

Makes total sense, hopefully we just solved the epic and all consuming mystery of the "Box and Necklace".
