Umm, hi everyone.

I am Reza and I have followed you guys for sometime and decided to join today. My last sign-up on forums goes back to nearly 14 years ago (for 7 years I was a potterhead at a regional fan site). Am I making a resume? :unsure:, anyway if you can, please bear with me til I re-learn some stuff.

And on the serious note, I have read Words of Radiance, Mistborns, Elantris and Warbreaker and absolutely loved Brandon's work. Sometimes it brought me to tears, or I couldn't put the book down and missed a work-day to finish it.

And.. that's it.

Hi Reza!

I'm bleeder, and I wear vests a lot.

Welcome to the Shard! You'll love it here; I know I do.

Your history with Branderson is very good for a new user. Usually I get to offer the Warbreaker PDF to newcomers, but, alas.

Hey, on a side note, no matter what anyone may say to you, under no circumstances shall you eat the cookies. They will Ruin your life. Just saying.

Hey, welcome!

Nice to meet you, Lessie, hope it goes better for you this time :(. Oh well, you can offer me other books, I am currently 7 books behind my goal this year, because I didn't find any thing as appealing as Brandon's works ..

Which is your favorite of Brandon's series'? I personally preferred SA to Mistborn (although Mistborn still was awesome), and have never read Warbreaker.

Hey @bleeder do you still have that Warbreaker PDF link? Or was that not you?

Well, I read Mistborn first and thought oh God how I didn't find it sooner. But then began the Stormlight Archives and I was speechless by how good it was. Definitely SA will be my vote.

Awesome! Order these characters from your most favorite to least: Adolin, Dalinar, Kaladin, Shallan.

@Elenion

Such a hard judgement, you're actually tearing me apart, and I couldn't decide the order for an hour. So I'll go with Kaladin, Adolin, Shallan, Dalinar.

No brainer for Kaladin, I can relate to him in many ways.

Adolin is the image of his father and, (except the final act, but both Kaladin and Dalinar wouldn't approve), but the single fact that he's following his father even though he was against it so many times, the fact that he accepted the weirdness of Kaladin as something good.

I absolutely LOVED shallan's backstory, making her a Radiant way before anyone else. But I guess it's easier for a lightweaver to progress, as they don't need oaths and no one in that age could actually grasp them, but she at the very least had the first oath spoken, or it wasn't needed to 'forget' the truth.

Dalinar, I really have to read his backstory in oathkeeper, "Coincidentally, that is the exact value of a Shardblade.", He's an old tiger, he doesn't need my approval and it won't shake him to be last.

@Darkness Ascendant

I am a good boy and am told not to get cookies :unsure:

They never said anything about the cake, I assure you it's great, and it's been invested with some Bio-Chromatic Breath, so consuming it will give you one extra breath. If my mah checks out.

@Darkness Ascendant I don't know, sounds dangerous... A cake is just a big cookie, right?

I still have it, yeah, and I also have The Emperor's Soul. You want?

By the way, @lastofus, I know the Lessie thing was a clever reference but I'm a dude. Jut so you know;)

@bleeder oh I am sorry, won't happen again. It was the best part of book 2 and utter shock for me, so that's why I said it :D

Oh, no worries. Darkness Ascendant once misgendered me. The name is misleading.

But yeah, aside from Wayne,

Spoiler

Paalm's reveal and subsequent death

was the best part of SoS. I cried.

@lastofus Don't worry too much about cookies or cake, just remember that NO-ONE expects the Steel Inkwizishon

Our biggest advantage is our imposing eyespikes and our fanatical devotion to the Lord Ruler! Wait a minute...

Also, welcome to the forums, Lastofus! I'd highly recommend Pierce Brown's Red Rising series if you haven't read it yet, or SJ Kincaid's Insignia, which is slightly more juvenile but still a good book. Also, if you haven't read The Emperor's Soul or Sixth of Dusk, both are Sanderson masterpieces :)
