I first heard of Brandon when he was selected to complete WoT. My initial thoughts were "oh no!!!" But he wrote Jordan as good as Jordan did, so I picked up WoK and WoR and was totally in awe. Then I read Mistborn and came across the odd name of Hoid...and then discovered the Cosmere. (INSERT SNOOPY DANCE)  My wife (who is also a big fan) makes fun of me fangirling.

Welcome to the forums! Have you by any chance read Elantris, Warbreaker, Mistborn Gen 2, or any of the novellas yet? If not, you might want to stick to sections about individual books for now, just to avoid spoilers
