BBcode on mobile

For the past month or so, if I try to post from the mobile site then none of the bbcode tags I include convert to actual code. Quotes, spoilers, links, and italics all stay as [whatever] text [/whatever] until I go back and edit using the full site (still on my phone), at which point they render correctly. I've tried both Chrome and Firefox and get the same effect.

Is this a known issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

If it's not an easy fix I can adjust to using the desktop version when needed, but I thought it should be mentioned.
