If you ever get the chance to ride along on an Aircraft Carrier for a day (they do that for family sometimes), I highly recommend it. They put on an airshow for the riders and do things that they just can't do over land. Things like break the sound barrier right next to you and blow stuff up - not to mention taking off and landing with you standing right there on the flight deck.
