Email issue with Outlook/Hotmail

If your email on the board is an Outlook or Hotmail address, you are probably not getting emails from us. That doesn't sound like a big deal, but if you lost your password, the board sends you an email to reset it. So this is kind of a big deal.

Please contact me directly if you are having login issues and I will reset passwords for you myself and then you can immediately change them.

The issue seems to stem from Microsoft servers just refusing to accept our emails by some spam nature from either their content or due to the specific host or IP. I will be contacting our provider soon for a fix.

The emails you send to that address will be seen, I think it just has an issue with our auto generated ones through the site. Either way, I do not use our IP to send things, but use Gmail. So I will be able to get those.

Sorry about this. I have heard strange things regarding emails for the last month sporadically, but I could not find any error logs until today, so I did not know what the problem was.

There also seemed to be an error with an @aol.com address, but that seemed to be an isolated incident.

Regardless if you believe you have been affected and you do not use Hotmail or Outlook.com, please let me know so I can follow up.

Curious. I have a hotmail address, and never had many problems receiving follow notifications emails, with a few exceptions (like when board migration reset my notification settings without me noticing). Granted, I never tried to change my password either.
