last in line guy he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 With the Stormlight Archive, Brandon has created a world unlike anything I have read before. I can't wait until #3 is published. 7
Redbird he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Welcome! You seem to be a stormlight fan, so which is your favorite surge? And could I interest you in a cookie?
Axies he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Welcome to the community.I have to agree, the world of Roshar is... mindblowing.Any Stormlight/Cosmere theories in mind?P.S: You don't want that cookie. I've read that they are really "heavy".
Surgebound Rainspren he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hello Welcome to the forums. Enjoy your stay You may want to pass that cookies through a metal detector a few times. the results may be surprising!
Unknowingly he/him Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Welcome my friend! Have an introductory upvote Isn't Brandon's Worldbuilding amazing! I was also completely engrossed by the world of Roshar.
last in line guy he/him Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 Cookies!! Of course I'll have a cookie. Lol, I didn't get to look this way by passing up cookies! I was reading The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan when he passed and Brandon was chosen to finish the books. I hadn't read anything of his up to that time so decided to find out more about what he had written. I read Elantris (enjoyed it very much) then the Mistborn trilogy (again very entertaining) then finished The Wheel of Time series. From there I went to the Stormlight Archive which I find his best so far.
