"It turns out" Adolin said, "that I'm in possession of not one, but two new Shardblades and three sets of Plate."

and then next paragraph:

"One complete set of those Shards is going to General Khal, and I've ordered two sets of plate given to appropriate lighteyes of rank in my fathers army."

That totals to three Shardplate and one Shardblade already given away:

Then he says:

"That leaves one full set."    (For Kal)

But no it does not.   It would leave only one Shardblade. as all three of the Plate were already given away.

Second issue.

How did Elit even get into the Duel?      He had to borrow the kings Plate and used a Hammer.     He had nothing to loose  -  that stinks.    He should have had the potential of loosing Something!!

What do you all think?

There were 4 shardbearers in the ring.  They all had to give up their plate and blade.  Dalinar may have directed some of the loot to his men, and given Adolin the rest (aka the majority).  3+1=4.  There's no issue here.

There was a discussion about this in the WoR Typos thread. (http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/6400-typos-in-wor-spoilers-ahead/page-5#entry223552)

Peter says it is a continuity error, which is being corrected:

Also, I've fixed the Blades count thing by having Teleb use a King's Blade on the expedition.

As far as Elit not risking anything, I don't personally have a problem with it. He wasn't the primary contestant, just recruited in support of someone who had wagered Shards. In lots of contests or gambling set ups the stakes are unequal.

On the other hand, the whole match was pretty unfair with loopholery, so I'm not surprised that there are smaller aspects of the situation that also smell a bit off.

Thanks ccstat,

I ran a search but did not think to check the Typos thread.

Recall that Dalinar offered to pay the price to borrow King's Plate and Blade in order to fight alongside Adolin, saying it would have meant they weren't being risked. So apparently, yeah, that's a rule. As has been pointed out, it sounds like poor sportsmanship, but not actually against the rules.
