Through the Living Wrath he/him Posted May 11 Posted May 11 It seems that Roleplay season has started……… so I decided to throw my name in the lot This is going to be based off of my practice writing, which I’m okay sharing cuz it isn’t the most original in the first place. Without further ado! It takes place in modern society, with one exception. Most governments don’t exist. Never have. In their place is a fluid caste system based on ancestral merit. If your ancestor did anything noteworthy in the past, you are part of the Indelible, a high class, extreme welfare based nobility. Otherwise, you are part of the rest, who lead normal lives. And ruling them is the organization known as the Burdened—elite, highly trained policymakers, who control Conjurations and Abhorrence. One man is in control of them, an immortal being named Damocles. elaboration (optional Worldbuilding): Spoiler They, and the Indelible, live by the philosophy of the Aioni (heavily inspired by Roman Stoicism), which values permanence above all else. They view stone as the body of Aioni, and believe that if anything achieves permanence, it is the will of Aioni. They then believe that only forces commanded by Aioni—what they call nature—can achieve permanence. This is separate from literal nature. Aionists denounce the qualities of flora and fauna, resenting the temporary change they effect before rotting away. No individual unit of life is permanent, they reason. Next, they believe that only Humanity, as a unit of life, can straddle the line to Aioni. Their written and oral history allows them to achieve permanence in society, but they also believe that only a large amount of humans can make significant change within the Aioni. Therefore, they strongly believe in unity. Finally, they really really like tradition. Lastly (this is the end of the Worldbuilding, I swear) A disaster has recently rocked the world! An unexplainable eruption of energy in the center of the high end cities, killing many, many Indelible and leading the Burdened to select more of the lower caste for their positions. Yall have received summons from the Burdened. You do not know what for. Make a character! You can be Indelible or not (but not Burdened), and you can be most ages within reason. (Upper teen to upper middle age). You must have a unique, valuable skill. (below is a character sheet, but those are really just the things I need. Ya don’t have to put it in that format.) Name: Age: Skill: Summary: 3
CoderDrag0n8 He/They Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Name: John (No Last Name) Age: 18 Skill: Data Summary: Is proficient at coding and manipulating data, can control a spreadsheet and any math with ease. Writes stories as a hobby.

GG0z He/Him Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) Name: Thaevius Regalis Age: 19 Skill: Deception and Thievery Summary: For reasons yet unexplained, has one arm made completely of stone, yet functions normally. That makes Thaevius part of the Indelible, and(hopefully) highly ranked. Has an irrational fear of the water, as he had almost drowned on multiple occasions, which he still has nightmares about Edited May 12 by GG0z

I don’t it is mysterious, and will take some time to show up in full in the RP If you’re in the right circles, you know that the Burdened command the Abhorrent Subjects in order to use Conjuration. You also know that they have mythical powers. The disaster is rumored to be action of the Burdened.
