Fizz9 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Hello! (If this isn't the best place to put this please tell me) I have this idea for a game and was hoping for some feedback: Spoiler The Teams (Factions) Spoiler The Fellowship (Good - ~3/10 players): They know who each other are. They win by passing the ring around and keeping it safe. Servants of Sauron (Evil - ~6/10 players): They do not know who their teammates are. They win by killing all Fellowship members. Gollum (Wildcard - 1 player always): Appears on whichever side they choose. (Adding players using this cycle: start with one Gollum, then add one Fellowship, then one SoS (Sercant of Sauron), then another SoS, then back to Fellowship and so on) How to Win Spoiler Fellowship Win: Hold the Ring for a total of (Total Players / 3) + 1 rounds (round up). Servants of Sauron Win: Kill all Fellowship members, or seize the ring. Gollum Win: Be the last player remaining Basic Rules Spoiler Turn Structure: Every turn, you can do up to two actions (like moving or using a power). The Ring: You can only hold the Ring for one turn. Then you must pass it to someone else. (this does not take an action) Knowledge: If you are SoS you do not know anyone's alignment or role. If you are Fellowship you know who the others are. Gollum does not know anyone's alignment or role. Voting: All players vote to eliminate other players. Keep you're team alive Actions & Abilities Spoiler You can use your turn to do these actions: Take the Ring: Grab the Ring to start/continue the count. Pass the Ring (Bonus): Give the ring to another player. Travel: Move between locations (Mordor, Shire, Gondor, Rivendell). Vote (Bonus): Vote on who to eliminate that round. Hide: (Ring Holder only) Protect yourself. Scout (Scout): Pick two players; learn if they are F or SoS (but not which is which). See (Seer): 50% chance to learn a player's role, 50% chance to see nothing. Protect (Ranger): Choose a player to prevent them from being eliminated in voting. Whisper (Hypnotist): If the target passes the ring, it goes to a random person instead. Poison: Stop a player from voting or talking next round. Forge Andúril: Collect two Shards, then use a turn to make a weapon to permanently kill one player. Black is an action anyone can take Red is an action roles can take Green is an action items allow you to do You get items when you start randomly. You get roles randomly, roles have no allignment. Gollum has no role. Locations Spoiler Mordor Shire Gondor Rivendell. You may only pass the ring to or take the ring from someone with the same location as you. Thoughts? Feedback? Improvements? Clarifications? Thanks! Edited April 11 by Fizz9
