Atlas333 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 The applications of Navigating in the cognitive realm seem fairly straightforward. Being able to sense things in the cognitive realm will obviously be useful, but I wonder, is that its only use? Navigators are able to sense "the current," aka investiture coming off of the Grand Knell. Does this ability only work on the Grand Knell, though? Or would they have similar abilities to seekers and be able to sense others using invested arts? 1
ChillPenguin Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I think the reason the Grand Knell works with instruments is because it is so big. I’m not sure there is anything in the physical realm like that except for pools/perpendicularities. Maybe the Highstorm could have been such a thing but I’m not sure that would be big enough to work at cosmic distances. I expect these kind of things follow the 1/r^2 rule of reduced intensity.
