"Also, if you fight me, I won't die instantly- and I'll probably land a few hits on you before I die. Do you think that getting injured for no reason is the right way to win? Really? Is it worth murder to simply get more wounded, have less chances of winning, and possibly die yourself?"

"Think of it this way- If you kill me, you lose pretty much all opportunity to kill in the future. It would be more strategic to kill someone who actually has a value to you to kill. The joy of bloodshed is not worth the consequences it brings."

Eventuri takes a step back unintentionally.

"The water is drugged? And don't come any closer!" I grab a vial of zephyr spores too. "I don't want to fight either but it's the only way to win!"

I'm pretty sure that's something Elan said once, if not there was something close. Eventuri, as previously mentioned (Albeit offhandedly) studied the older games' to try and win better.

And to patch the plot hole of my own knowledge of the older games, because I'm not that good at role-playing different knowledges/ different skill sets.

He did not feel the effect of the spores in the slightest.

Under the assumption he doesn't see a lake that wasn't there before, he says to Ceru "We should head for the trees. We need water- trees need water. Trees might have some water."
