now there are many clues that could show more elements in the world maybe hidden in different places. on the planet. The planet is around 1/8th the size of Earth but It has similar if not the same gravity of Earth, now if you said well maybe they just have stronger gravity, then that would cause the planet to be larger. I know that my list of bending types is bad so I could use some more ideas for what to use for the 7 other theorized sections.  the next show is called Seven Havens. Seven, seven other possible sections.

Spoiler

my list:

Ones we know from ATLA and TLoK:

Firebending

Waterbending

Earthbending

Airbending

Another group may include:

Lifebending

Deathbending

Soundbending

Timebending

Another:

Lightbending

Darkbending

Psychicbending

Dreambending

The next:

Gravity

Poison

Celestial

Physical

Another:

Spacebending

Formbending

Chaosbending

Peacebending

Another:

Spiritbending

Kineticbending

Forcebending

Radiationbending

Another:

Astralbending

Emotionbending

Luckbending

Voidbending

The final:

Persuasionbending

Momentumbending

Atomicbending

Centerbending

maybe it just has a really dense core.

Also, I think most of them would be adapted forms of bending, because there is no hint of anything related to anything except for the basic four. I guess its possible, but if you are approaching it the same way as Brandon Sanderson, its incredibly small chance of it. Really cool idea tho!

Edit: I just remembered about the sandbenders and how Toph couldn't bend the sand like they could. Also bloodbending. (except that Katara could do that on the right night). So basically what i'm saying is that there are probably many more elements, they're just subsects of basic ones.

Hear me out:

All bending is actually elemental bending

Waterbenders are just capable of bending Hydrogen and Oxygen

Firebenders can bend Oxygen and Nitrogen and other stuff

Airbenders just bend elements in gaseous phases

Earthbenders bend metals and other earth elements

Etc.

This is really interesting, except for that waterbending and firebending would just be the same. Since water is just hydrogen and oxygen, and fire can be made with liquid hydrogen and oxygen, and then you just control the fire by pushing all the oxygen in the direction you want it to spread. But like, I like it

Perhaps the difference is the state. Firebending involves them in the gaseous phase, to fuel flame, while waterbending affects the two bound together

It’d have to be liquid and gaseous for firebending since they create the spark themselves. The bonds is an interesting theory though, depending on what bond it’s based on, there could be a variety of different things. If it’s dependent on hydrogen bonds, that’s very different from covalent and ionic bonds

hahaha. That would be crazy. the earth benders would be op, cuz of all the many elements in the earth.

True, but I feel like it would be limited to like those that make earth earth. No hydrogen for them, 'cause that's extraneous

Do you mean that they don’t create the spark to start the fire? I’m 90% sure they do.

yea. they do in the TV show.

Have you watched the movie?

Spoiler

they have to use existing flames in the movie. Its so awful. I hate that movie. (personal opinion, i don't hate you if you like it)

I haven’t watched the movie, just the TV show

I saw the whole thing. Its EVIL

You know the episode where they trap the earthbenders on a metal island?

good point. This is actually fairly plausible now that I think about it. I mean, scientifically, (if we ignore the fact that it's magic in the first place, and just focus on controlling it atomically) the very thing that makes water 'water' and air 'air' are the individual molecules combined to make a bigger whole of the same material. so that would be possible. And it matches with everything. In the bloodbending episode, they need the full moon to bloodbend, because it's a lot harder to, and the water percentage in blood is a lot less then in water. Likewise with metal, but reversed. Iron is naturally a more pure type of stone (iron ore) and it is a lot harder to bend then normal stone, possibly because iron only contains trace amounts of whatever it is that earthbenders bend.

Nice thoughts @Kansas Stormcursed

yea, well, in the mOViE they trapped them in a freaking forest. With tons of stone and dirt.

Honestly tho, despite me shutting this down earlier (sorry for that) this is a really cool idea. I think it would make a great fan-fic. AtomicBending sounds the most fun 😛

I actually have a tv show idea roughly based around that, but now is not the right time.

It isn't actually in Korra, it is in a prequel novel about Avatar Kyoshi, and is never actually given a name.

In the book... Spoilers:

Spoiler

There is an earthbender who deconstructed his body and rebuilt it slightly younger, giving him the key to eternal life. That is why Kyoshi's reign was longer than the normal human lifespan, and the longest reign of an Avatar in all of history. Her reign ended in battle.

Assuming you're talking about the book I think

I love that book
