Several palace officers came to court with reports of whispers of unrest in the city. The king’s normally “happy” attitude had gone, and there was no hint of him smiling anytime soon. Taylor looked up. “Well I haven’t heard to much. If people are talking they’re smart enough to shut up when i get around. But there are some people that are not very… uh well liking of you?”

Taylor still found it somewhat ironic that guards would escort him around.

What he didn’t know was that it was by order of the king that all members of the royal family were to be guarded at all times. With the discontent in the streets and two of his girls missing, no risks could be taken.

Taylor nodded and eyed the guards. He didnt like having them there, he wasnt sure if they were trustworthy, he would have much liked it if they were his own guys guarding them. “What’s it gonna be?”

She’s saying this because of the guards. She is making a blanket, that’s true. But they have to give the impression that they’re a happily married couple, and happily married couples tend to have children. She’s saying this to kind of build trust with the king and his men
