You really need to read over the last lots of pages

"Do you mean the city watch?"

“No I do not mean the city watch.”

“No, it’s on your brother who most certainly did.”

@IcedOutPenguin

“Still, you are making the decision to give up a party member to these… things. There’s a way out of this where all 5 of us get out of here together.”

She almost chuckled.

"I didn't invite you. You showed up on the roof while we were there. And like she said." He gestures to Vellelu. "We barely know you."

"I would too."

She took his hand.

“No!” Ferences fought down the urge to hit Revi on the head. “They are going to kill me. You do not let someone die for the crime of trying to get through a door.”

“… we just met them.”

"Well then why haven't they killed you get? We now they've had the chance."

"Should we turn him in anyway? He is just a human."

“I say we do. I don’t want to be separated because of someone we barely know.”

"Agreed."

He turns around and faces the gaurds. "We'll give you the human."

Ferences turned to face the guards. “Gentlemen,” he spread his arms. “I have a proposal.”

"What?" The guards asked

“Well, think about it.” Ferences gestured at the two dragons. “Keeping two prisoners is more valuable than keeping one. You plan on letting these two walk free after they’ve seen your inner workings? After they’ve broken out of containment? That’s just bad business.” He wagged a finger at the guards. “Here’s a real idea. You get to keep these two and instead I go free. You get the more valuable duo, I didn’t see anything and haven’t caused you any trouble and everyone’s happy.”

"We're not letting anyone get free."

“Oh fantastic. As long as they’re not getting a better deal than I am I’m happy.” He sat down in the corner of the cell.

"They're negotiating to stay together and one of the terms is you come with us to another cell."

“Oh that won’t stand. How about instead I come with you and you bring her,” he pointed at Vellelu. “Her brother isn’t very nice,” he whispered.

They were far away and didn't hear your whisper. "And that's the problem with negotiating from a weaker position. One where the opponent can breathe fire and eat you."

“That doesn’t seem related to the topic at hand.”

“Keeping three is more valuable than two.”

She growled and bared her unfortunately human teeth.

“Would you rather be imprisoned alone or in a cell with a creature who would eat you for separating them from their twin?”

“I’m having a conversation here. Shush.”

She’s in human form. It would just be more intimidating in dragon form. It’d still be unsettling tho

Ah

I feel like I’d be more unsettled by a human baring teeth at me than a dragon
