Rye walks over to him and crouches down. "Hello, I'm rye, sorry about my brother. He can be testy sometimes. It was not our intention to hurt her. But we do have issues with Taryn." 

alcor follows and sits next to Taryn. "may i?" He asks getting permission to pick her up.

Lore: Kiriv had a sister who died, and he wasn't able to protect her, so now he tries to protect everybody (Sounds a bit like Kaladin, now that I think about it)

I forgot about the thing, you see (and I don’t know what I’m doing with this guy’s characterization), but Hawks wanted me to come back, so I am. Maybe I could have done it in a subtler way, but I don’t know what.

Alcor huffs “its simple somehow the bond between you and destiny broke and he became a ‘good” person. So we revert him and this guy is the only one who could fix the machine.”

”so …. You crashed our ship kidnapped me destiny and him, did something to me, forced him to fix your machine….. so destiny will be on your side again?”

Taryn growls. “She made her choice i didnt force her to do anything.”

When Kiriv had fixed the bot, he had also streamlined it, making some parts useless. He had taken them out and had been fiddling with them for the last little while. He plugged a battery into his creation. He smiled. Yes. Now to ping Fyre's datapad. If he still has it. He clicked the button.
