Magic can make even the weakest things strong. One such example is my blade, crafted from perfect ice and imbued with the essence of Godith. "I would most definitely prefer the Ocean or Ice world for any of my battles, though."

Plotblades were similarly enhanced, though their actual composition was vague. Perhaps someone who had been responsible for the Plot plot would know. “So shall we fight? I could use a break from messing with people.”

Whirte shakes his head at their childish bickering and makes for the obvious gate at the far end of the battlefield. He destroys a few looters and wraiths who try to stop him. He reaches the gate. He enters and walks the stone corridors for a few hours before reaching the world of machines. Having regained his power, Whirte immediately takes over the capital which currently has no leader.

Rebus copied himself, traveling through the labyrinth to claim that planet as his. It was odd, how poorly his technology was working in the maze. True, balance was important, but random features mysteriously ceasing to function didn’t make any sense.

Tim, unlike others, is not omnipotent.

Aelorin, however, is sort of. I accept thine greetings.

Tim finishes his flail, inspecting the Weave.

Aelorin is only slightly omnipotent, so he doesn't respond.

Tim? The hunchback, or another?

*exists*

Rebus, since his powers are now active, directly addresses the non-canon question. “Not yet - the point of this is to provide epic fights between effectively omnipotent characters, presumably because it was cluttering other threads.”

Another. I, the ancient deity, certify this.

"He's not nearly omnipotent enough, anyway. His master, though, is in some ways the one who started this."

Well, yes, but he is another. Simply because I took his memory. It's only a matter of time before he "kindly reminds me not to do that."

"Regardless, are you here to fight? I hear there's ten or so hills to be king of."

Whirte immediately seizes control back from this pathetic invader. "You think you are a match for me? Ha! You could not hope to stand against me in the flesh and you dare to send this practically insubstantial copy to face me? I will erase it from this universe as easily as you would crush a gnat between your fingers." Whirte merely waves his hand in an uncaring gesture and the copy explodes into no more than a cloud of dust. "You may return as yourself to face me. If you dare. I will crush your impotent soul just as effortlessly."
