Rebus copied himself, traveling through the labyrinth to claim that planet as his. It was odd, how poorly his technology was working in the maze. True, balance was important, but random features mysteriously ceasing to function didn’t make any sense.

Whirte immediately seizes control back from this pathetic invader. "You think you are a match for me? Ha! You could not hope to stand against me in the flesh and you dare to send this practically insubstantial copy to face me? I will erase it from this universe as easily as you would crush a gnat between your fingers." Whirte merely waves his hand in an uncaring gesture and the copy explodes into no more than a cloud of dust. "You may return as yourself to face me. If you dare. I will crush your impotent soul just as effortlessly."
