Welcome to Acheron! The battlefield of Eternity!

This is the battlefield for all your immensely powerful characters that are a tad OP, but first, the groundwork.

  • There are 10 planets, each with its own climate and special features.
  • These planets are connected together with tunnels called The Labyrinths. These are areas where magic is suppressed down to that of a normal fantasy mage.
  • On these planets, there are cities, each with certain styles you can set according to habitat, and major capitals that give you bonuses and abilities to change certain things about the planet, gravity for one.
  • The Labyrinths are the only way to get from planet to planet, so don't try any other method.
  • Damage is NOT permanent (to the physical/spiritual/cognitive world)
  • Feel free to make as many characters as you want (Just don't overdo it)
  • 1 Rule: Don't die.
  • And most importantly, have fun, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Planet topography

Spoiler
  • Earth planet
  • Hellscape planet
  • Jungle planet
  • Ocean planet, half is water half is ice, two capitals
  • Stone planet, there is no livable surface so all the cities are in caverns and caves
  • Grassland planet
  • Metal planet, full of tunnels with advanced technology
  • Paradise planet
  • Enlightend planet, full of magic users
  • Acheron Prime, A volatile wasteland with strange, forboding rock formations. Smoke rises from the ground, and magic powers are enhanced here. they sky is covered in dark clouds with rainbow lighting snaking between them

While they are wasting time, Whirte makes for the nearest labyrinth and enters. He begins to walk through the labyrinth towards the planet of machines.

PS: Me and Penguin developed this together. I would like to clarify one thing. The labyrinths are huge hollow pillars of stone that stretch between the surfaces of planets. They weaken your powers to non-op levels. They aren't simple mazes either. They contain an infinite variety of rooms and challenges and are never the same as the last time you used them. Space is also warped inside them, so getting through can take anywhere between 2 hours and 2 months (Not real time obviously.) Since they weaken you, they are also the easiest place in which to die as some of the challenges are quite dangerous.

Ice teleports to the entrance of the labyrinth you entered and follows you inside it, sneakily, because of course he would.

I would post for Whirte, but I'm on a phone right now, so I can't edit text background. Suffice it to say that Whirte continues to walk through the foreboding stone corridors, ignoring his tails, until he reaches a door. He opens it. Inside is the strangest sight. It is a battlefield. The door behind him seems to be hovering in the air. Whirte looks over the charred landscape.

I hope you realize I’m levitating over the field by the door

My sword is long enough, and you're still in the labyrinth

Your sword is now 1 millimeter long but deals 2 D20 damage and I’m over the battle field

Rebus showed up somewhere, grinning. “I’ve escaped! Technically this is non-canon, but still - I’ve made it outside the Wall! And since this isn’t canon…” Purple lines began to crackle around him, splitting into fractals.

What he means is that the battlefield is just another room in the labyrinth. We aren't even close to getting out, my guy.

Rebus is through this door, sitting in a swivel chair. He spins around dramatically, smirking. “So, you’ve found me. I assume you’re here to fight.”
