reisleK she/her Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I'm working on one right now but this is my first time even attempting translating women's script into English so I was wondering if anyone else had successfully or was working on it? Partially because it's a little confusing to differentiate some letters.
usernames are stupid Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I'm in the same boat right now. I was working on Navani's notes on the honorblades, but I haven't done much so far. I have "Nale must have come back for his long ago - the traitor has Jezrien's blade - Ishar's blade glows with glyphs when he's wielding it - they started out much more simple it seems their shapes and styles developed over time - we had a blade from taln but it was a normal shardblade what happened to his honorblade" I still have a sentence left on that page and none of the next. Apart from the hard to distinguish letters, the "b" was missing from 'honorblade' and in 'glyph' the letters "p" and "h" were used instead of the "ph" 3
Skyvrrrrr Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 The one at the bottom that you’re missing is “these blades may work differently for them than for us.” Can’t say I’ve ever translated this before but I’m reasonably sure that’s what it’s saying
terracubist Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Those translations match what I got. Attached full translations for both pages, with slight editing for readability (e.g. "diphpherently" --> "differently") and putting it in the worst typesetting you've ever seen. 2

That perfectly matches my translation for 1119 page and 1118 matches what I have so far Also thank you for putting it in this format!
