My Poetry

[OOKLA_the LIV She/They/Lesbian/hungry]

i like to write poems.

yeah.

i am a nerd.

but i like writing poems, SO I AM GOING TO SHARE THEM.

feedback welcome.

When you close your eyes,

Colors get that much harder to see.

When you plug your ears,

Music is that much harder to hear.

When you close your mind,

Ideas are that much more ridiculous.

I am safe,

I am home,

I am anything but alone.

I feel alone.

I have friends,

I´m alive,

I can do anything except thrive.

Whats wrong inside?
 

Once upon a time, 

there was a girl,

missing a smile.

yet she brought one everywhere she went,

of pearl and diamond smiles.

it was fake.

she felt...

fake.

and they look at her,

like they look at me,

like, she´s beautiful...

they dont know.

when they look at her,

why cant they see,

are they scared of the unknown?

cause I am.

Do their homes feel like a home?

cause mine...

cant.
