Ducks are fine. They're the goose's slaves.

Sooooo that's the premise for this RP. They started taking over Earth.

Boston, Massachusetts. Eight days since Goosepocalypse began.

Joseph ran from the geese, panting frantically, his breath ragged. He turned a corner, into an alleyway, crawling into a dumpster, holding his breath.

Don't find me. Don't find me. He silently prayed. 

He could hear them waddling by, honking angrily. His heart beat frantically in his chest.

Then the alley went silent.

Joseph jumps, his heart skipping a beat. He peeks out of the dumpster and surveys the scene. The alley is covered in feathers, but no geese are visible.

"Yeah." He whispers back. "Still be careful, we don't wanna attract the attention of a patrol."

A third figure called down from above them. “Hey! What are y’all doing down there. They’ll see you!”

Duck honks grumpily, angry that the swans and Highgeese would put him on patrol duty. He had managed to talk to a human, and they were pretty nice, if there weren’t any misunderstandings. But no, they had to conquer the humans.  He surreptitiously waddles away from the patrol group, looking for something better to do.

Joseph carefully climbs out of the dumpster, ready to run. This man wouldn't survive for long, he could feel it. Yelling. Talking about jumping goose. He wouldn't be safe to be around.

So Joseph crept in the shadows away from a patrol goose (keeping where it couldn't see him), towards his makeshift shelter in a bookstore.

The hoodie person was definitely insane. But if he wanted to die, Joseph supposed that it would let him live longer.

A knot of guilt formed in his chest.

He was about to turn around when he spotted a goose in front of him, staring at him with it's black, beady eyes.

Joseph backed away from the goose silently, his hands reaching to his belt, where he kept some pepper spray he had pulled off a body.

Other geese came to join the first one, watching Joseph intently. They showed up on all sides, until he was surrounded.

Duck panics slightly. The human did welcome him, but they’d both be executed if he didn’t. “I understand.” Duck flaps at the human aggressively, pecking at his face while avoiding the eyes. Within the storm of flapping wings, he tries to conceal the way he cocks his head to the side, sticks out his tongue, and closes his eyes. Then, he rams the human, hoping he got the message.

Joseph screamed, pushing Duck away and running.

The geese jump him as he does and begin pecking him.

Duck internally sighs. Is ‘play dead’ really so hard to understand? He still charges Joseph, though. Might as well make his death quick.
