Nehex he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 So, who's going to be updating the blog on a regular basis? I think it would be kind of fun for staff to have a blog of our own on here where we can, well, blog. I think it would help us connect with the people on the forums, or to anyone that happens across the site.
Nehex he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Yeah, why not? I think it'd be fun, we'd get a lot of our personality to show through, plus we can split up some of the responsibilities of reporting on Brandon stuff.
Chaos he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 That was my original conception of it, too.
Nehex he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 I mean, if it's a lot of work to set up, that's fine, we don't need to do it. I just think it'd be a fun way to connect with our audience, especially for those of us (like me) who aren't very good at forums.
Ryan he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Wordpress can host multiple blogs with a single installation. I'm not convinced it would benefit us to organize it that way, though. My conception was that we'd all have our own user accounts from which we can post to a single blog. Will and I already have accounts, and I took the liberty of putting up the first blog post. Honestly, I can scarcely make the time for my own blog. If you gave me my own personal blog on here, I doubt I'd ever use it.
Nehex he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Well, it's not like you're required to update your own blog. You can update the main blog and whatnot, but then the other staff would have the option of blogging if we so choose. But, like I said, if it's a lot of work, don't worry about it.
Ryan he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I honestly have no idea how hard it would be, but I imagine it's not too terribly difficult since support is built into the software.
Chaos he/him Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I was more thinking they would be elements of the single blog than different blogs entirely.
