She shuddered, and moved closer to him, trying to find her feeling of safety, but it was nowhere to be found. Rex tried to keep her breathing even, but her lungs constricted, and she couldn't help but gasp, trying to get enough air.

Rex nods, and her breathing eventually returns to normal. She takes deep breathes, letting her body go limp again.
