The trees and ground bent and doubled in on themselves. Up and down were lost. Everything seemed slowed. Erin kissed him back.

It grew more intense, disorienting and a bit frightening. Erin held on to Mike tightly, and they were like a raft staying afloat amidst a storm.

He felt Erin's grip tighten, and he was perfectly fine with that. For this brief forever moment, he could forget his past. Erin was all that mattered.
