I came across Brandon's books two years ago. Since then I have read through each of the cosmere novels twice, the skyward series once, and have enjoyed watching shardcasts for the discussions on things that I missed!

I'm hoping that I can attend the Dragonsteel con this year, but I'm still working on those plans. 

I figured it is time I joined the community!

Favorite book is a tough call. Probably Warbreaker, since that is where we first meet nightblood.

I like the characters with a bit of whimsy to them and don't take themselves too seriously. So the Lopen, Wayne, and Lightsong the Bold are my favorites.

The magical system I like most is the metallic arts of Scadrial.
