masaru Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) In chapter 63, "A Burning World," when Shallan visits 'Taln,' she begins to use her lightweaving and he reacts with: "One of Ishar's Knights," the madman whispered. His eyes narrowed. "I remember... he founded them? Yes." Shouldn't Lightweavers be founded by Shalash? Or is he referring to Knights Radiant as a whole? Edited March 21, 2014 by masaru

While Shallash is the patron Herald of the Lightweavers, one of the chapters from the in-book Words of Radiance mentioned that it was Ishar who came up with the entire idea of organizing surgebinders into the Knights Radiant making all Knights "his" in this respect.
