Buy, they'll probably have to become savants first Kelsier is going to cause quite a bit of trouble in future cosmere books
-
Buy, it seems almost inevitable, plus she has a really good teacher Szeth will be freed from his Truthlessness on book 3
-
Buy, that would be a fun little end page to have. When Szeth comes to assassinate Dalinar and Kaladin uses his Windrunner abilities to protect him, Szeth will see it as an opportunity to die and ignore Kaladin and focus on Dalinar, leaving him exposed to Kaladins attack but still following his orders to kill Dalinar. Kaladin will injure him and not kill him because he will see it as an opportunity to learn more about his abilities.
-
Um... I'll buy that, his blood sickness seems like something shatdplate will help but not cure. If you pass out in shardplate you are still unconscious. After Renarin and Shallan have been together for a while (around book 4) Shallan will attempt to use her soulcasting abilities to cure his blood sickness

You know everything you guys are theorizing is thoeritically possible through the use of hemalurgy. If you made enough spikes and knew the right places to put them, you could make a Super Radiant! Some one capable of using every and all types of surge and surge combination Brandon has confirmed that hemalurgy is cosmer wide!
-
Hemalurgy is Cosmere Universal (absolute confirmation)
Unknowingly replied to Shardlet's topic in Mistborn
The possibilities of this are endless... The metals on scadrial don't glow to anyone but a shards eyes. What is important about the spike is the ratios of the metal, remember to alllomatically burn a metal it needs to be like 58% this and 20% that. Its the same with spikes, as long as they have the right composition and are placed correctly you can steal anything -
sell, already confirmed that it was a dragon(from a book we don't have yet), sorry I can't find the link. Kaladin will challenge Amaram in memory and Honour of his friends, but will not kill him, just fight him.

I read Elantris and loved it but I didn't read his other books and moved on. Then, about a year later, a friend recommended Mistborn to me(Thank you Bianca!) and I read it and I loved it sooo much, but I didn't make the connection between these two awesome books. I carried on reading fantasy and got a kindle. On my recommended list for more that a year was this book called Way Of Kings, but I was turned off by the length and the blurb didn't interest me and I didn't like the cover at all. then I made the connection between the authors names on these books(I don't usually pay attention to authors) and since this guy had written mistborn which was in my top 10 books of all time, I decided to give it a try. Needless to say I fell in love and devoured this book, it was so intricate and subtle and amazing and... there just aren't enough words. I then pormptley re-read it, discovered the wonderful cosmere which is consuming my life and the rest is history. I have read all of his stuff ,including WoT, excepting legion and infinity blade(don't worry ill get there) can't wait for Words of Radiance and just incase it wasn't obvious enough Brandon is by far my favourite author

Guts honestly, he has done so many cons and signing tours this year its ridiculous. If you follow Brandon on Twitter you'll know what im talking about. I think the amount of promotional things he has done this year is one of the reasons WoR has been delayed and I'm quite happy for him to tone it down a bit

Connection Between Allomancy and the Heralds/Surges...?
Unknowingly replied to darkanimereal1's topic in Cosmere Discussion
great theory and I definitely think it has some merit to it, especially when combined with Shardic Lens Theory. I do however think that the connection you see between Kaladin and Zinc is just a very uncanny coincidence. up vote for you -
Why do people think Shallan has a shardblade?
Unknowingly replied to ddleg's topic in Stormlight Archive
Welcome to the cosmere my friend Hope you enjoy catching up on all the info we have gathered as a community -
I disagree with it being Nightblood on the fact of the different coloured hilts (this is despites hoids lightweaving, he has no one to hide the blade from on Roshar, so why change it) But there is something special about that blade, Brandon mentions it too often for it not to be special. I personally am inclined to think that he has an awakened blade, but its not Nightblood

Guys on another forum we discussed what the three types of shardblade are and I'm pretty sure we figured it out. 1) the Shardblades carried by people like Dalinar and Adolin, these blades all seem to be similar in the way they act and are designed (6 feet long, silgle edged, ect) 2) the shardblade used by Szeth, makes his eyes glow, 4 feet long, double edged 3) the shardblade that Amaram now carries. To tell the truth we don't know much about this blade but what we based this on was its appearance. It has a gemstone set in the hilt (no other blade is described with this), 6 feet long(I know its the same), double edged(one side is serated and the other straight but sharp) and then this is the big one along with the gemstone difference, it has a flame design etched into the blade. In that other forum we had other reasons but we were certain that these were the three Shardblades that we had seen in the book and that thus far in TSA we have not come across an honourblade(excluding taln's spike at the end) Edit: Spelling

cem I'm pretty sure(don't quote me on this) but I'm sure Brandon has said that every shard has a shard pool. The one's we've come across are; the place where Elantrians go to die, the well of ascension ect... so on Roshar there should be two, one for Cultivation and one for Honour. This means that if someone(Nohadon) found this shard pool he would, after using his powers, become a Splinter

How many pages is it?
-
Too bad about the Shards not being a viable option. I definitely think that you are on to something with the light/time slowing theory. We definitely know that he can lightweave and with your physics theory (Sanderson loves following physics laws and bending them at the same time) it would explain how he can live so long, by slowing down the light around him.

Hoid is the villain of the Cosmere saga
Unknowingly replied to Two McMillion's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Interesting topic Good points on Hoid being evil, very convincing and well thought out but, I think we just don't know enough anout him. He could be evil and there is every possibility that he is working towards maybe ruling the cosmere by himself. I on the other hand believe he is working towards a much greater good then we can comprehend with the little information we have about the cosmere right now. Because of this he doesn't have time to worry anout small little wars that last a couple of decades (to him this is nothing since he is several thousand years old), instead he looks at the bigger picture and nudges the different shardworlds in the right directions -
In English class someone asked what the point of reading was and I replied with,"the point of a story is to make you think and question, to expand your mind." This is of course a reference to Hoids campfire story to kaladin

In all seriousness I would love the windrunner surges but we still haven't seen what the other surges can do yet so can't decice

Which Brandon Character Would You Date?
Unknowingly replied to Chaos's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I would probably choose vivvena because she is described as beautiful and I really enjoyed her personality, especially her determination -
This actually made me realise that I need a new approach on how to gst more people to read his books... I am very gulty of praising his world building and magic systems
