Hi from a recently-joined noob who is also on the older side! My daughter's 19 and a long-time RP gamer so I also thought I might venture down that path at some stage. Also currently on WoR, but haven't read Mistborn, and my greeters gently guided me to read a bit more before going too deep if I want to avoid spoilers. Anyway, my experience so far is that this is a pretty nice community. Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not sure I'm far enough in to know them all yet! So much to learn, but I'm also wary of spoilers because I want to read as much as I can before I learn too much lore. What's the Discord situation like? Any good recommendations? Or do a lot of people hang in these forums?

How did I only discover Brandon Sanderson in 2026??!! Started the Stormlight Archive (currently Words of Radiance) and then started to realize the extent of the Cosmere. Fast evolving into a superfan. Submitted my email for Dragonsteel Nexus yesterday—anyone else? Everyone?
