    Howdy y'all, I'm kinda just here on my soapbox today to share something interesting that developed over the last little bit Trigger warning: topics of SH and other such topics Sorry if that was a lot, I just really needed to get that out. If you did read it, thank you. If you didn't, that's alright I fully understand. I guess I mostly did it just to get my thoughts out. I dunno. I know I feel better now though.     He complied, walking over and plopping down in the chair - “I think they’re about to start, actually. I should go check on him. I’ll be back later” she said smugly

    He stood, following close behind - "It's for your sake. Don't worry. He'll be better eventually"

    He shook his head. "I've been through worse. Get it over with" - Her smile grew. "We're not hurting him. We're improving him. He agreed to let us do whatever we want so long as we don't hurt you. We're keeping our end of the deal. You are safe, we'll keep you fed and clothed, and he will undergo experiments designed to improve him, or break him. We'll see what happens"

    "Conscious. If I'm unconscious I wouldn't be able to tell if you were breaking our deal" - She chuckled. "As I thought. Why would he give so much pain to protect something so frail and fragile"

    He sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Alright. Get it over with" Violet wandered out of Irie's room and went to check on Five. "How are you feeling?" she asked smugly

    He smirked. "You aren't the only ones who can negotiate." he chuckled. "I do have one more thing. I get to see Five at least three times a week to know she's okay"

    Violet walked out and moved to Irie's room to check in on her He sighed. "I have one condition. Enhance all you want, but you don't get to touch my brain anymore. If I work for you, I still have my own personality, I'm not a machine to program as you like. If I work for you, I'm doing it by my choice. Not yours."

    Violet walked over to the Manager. "I'm checking on the others, 2 guards are outside the door" she whispered Starlight looked at her, intrigued. "What kind of deal?"

    Nah, seems normal to me. I get hooked on one song or band for like a day or so and just listen to that, then sometimes transition into a playlist it just depends on my mood lol

    *hug* I get you. @Through The Living Glass can confirm, I almost always have earbuds in, its a focus thing, and a practical thing I talked to teachers about, since it stops my ears from ringing lol

    He stood, turning his back to Five. He felt bad. He didn't want to leave her. But he didn't want them to hurt her either. Violet looked up from her radio and back at the manager. "He's on his way"
