  1. Gaz being in the bridge crews seems like a very good option indeed! I don't think skar killed him, just because Syl watched over the bridgemen all night to see if someone would go meet Gaz, and no one did. Sure the murder could be done during the day, but we can assume that Gaz was armed, it would be dificult for a bridgeman to kill an armed man unnoticed especially during the day...
  2. If you go to the bookdepository(google it or go to Brandon's site, there's a link there somewhere), you can buy the paperback, they ship to everywhere or almost. I bought mine from there, because since I live in Portugal I usually have to purchase my books from amazon UK, and there they sell only the Gollancz version, but the cover from Tor is so good, that I had to have it, even if it costs 3€ more...
  3. I don't think it'll be Kaladin, he cares way to much about Syl, they've beem through a lot, and what she thinks or says as a lot of weight with him. Unless Syl cooperates with him in the destroying(thinking it's the right thing to do) her feelings about it would stop kaladin...
  4. Hehehe, I know how you feel, I think I'm as creative as a pine tree, in everything that has to do with arts & crafts....
  5. Loved this topic and theory. Seems to fit nicely, but the problem is that we don't have enough info, it's like we're trying to conect 2 dots with a line, but we don't know if the line is straight, or if there are any points in between that curves the line... A little off-topic now, does anyone knows why does the shardplates need to be fueled with gems, but the swords don't need it? It almost seems like the plates could be linked to the person the same with the blades, and when they disapear, they go somewhere where they are recharged, but since people don't know/remmember how to bond with the plates, then they need the gems to fuel it, and maybe that's why the radiant's could summon their plates(the guy that summoned his helmet) as well as the blade.
  6. I agree with looter. The code itself condones Amaram for what he did, and if Dalinar finds out, he'll be in trouble. I just don't know which way Amaram is gonna go, he's at a crossway, where he can go hero or villain, depending on with whom he'll interact...
  7. Not to mention that the healthcare it's just a ploy, to collect people that are dying so he can record what they say seconds before they die, maybe even making some of the sick die faster, so that he can have a bigger sample. He's doing things for the wrong way for the right reason, at least you would see it that way, if you follow the code. So I don't thing Taravangian will be the hero of the series, at least in the beggining, there is always a chace that he'd mend his ways. He strikes more as the anti-hero type...
  8. Who is eligible to win? Sadly, this year we can only afford to offer this to U.S. and Canadian Residents. Dang it...
